Every time Matt gets rejected or shows any sign of sadness, I bawl my eyes out. He’s so sweet and caring! I cry sometimes even when he’s fighting people.
Another thing I liked about Daredevil is that they're not afraid to show that their characters aren't invincible, showing how devastating it was for Matt when Foggy seemingly abandoned their friendship during this season and then this. It just shows honesty and I like that about characters.
Matt Murdock has been such an inspiration to me, even though it's fiction but just what he has been through, hardship after another. Life is not kind to him at all, the show just shows a few tragedies he has been through but if you read the comics there is so much Matt has struggled with. I feel like I can relate to Matt in many ways, I might not be a Hero like him or gone through the tragedies he has gone through but in aspects of suffering, I have. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way.

I can't relate to Matt tho i deeply understand him but i'm really into their relationships with Foggy. Their relationships -- in comics especially -- are so relatable to me, they are so inspire me from both sides cause i have such shit everyday in my real life.
He might be the only superhero that admited that he can't take it anymore. He never wanted to be alone in his fight, although he lacked the words to say it to Foggy or karen. Their support in his life kept his moral compass the right way, without them he knew he would lose all sense of right and wrong and the fundamental purpose of what he's fighting for. This scene is so incredible because, it took great courage for matt to say what he said to karen. He desperately kept his double life a secret and for him to open up about the torment of it means it must have taken a huge toll on him. Not because he suddenly realised their worth in his life. He did it despite of knowing that karen might ask questions which might endanger his secret identity. Charlie is soo good here. He looks like such kicked puppy, I'd give him as many hugs and cuddles as he'd ask for.

This is a true example; That its okay to be vulnerable. No matter how tough you are. I can relate to this scene cuz i have gone through so much drama and pain that it isn't funny. When i look back... i said to myself; "We got this far... Lets keep going. We have a long way." I will continue to read comic books and love Marvel for the dedication of entertainment and for making me the man i am today ✊
I know this is just a show, comic book story. But this scene really hits hard because it shows that he may have the senses that can help him do the things he can do to help save people when the law can’t. However it shows that he is still a good man, fighting to keep his humanity, his soul at the end of it all. He is not some emotionless superhero. And he knows the risk and going at it alone is possibly the best thing so he doesn’t have people he cares about get hurt, even killed. But without having people he cares about in his life, those that help him carry on, make him laugh, smile and help him know that there is good in the world worth fighting for. That is what made me love this side of Daredevil. Thanks for uploading.

hi i’m back, getting mad at foggy again. even though i realize that he... he couldn’t know what he was doing- i’m never going to stop being frustrated by the way that he left matt. i’m not necessarily mad at him- and i don’t blame him. i’m just incredibly pissed off at the entire situation. matt, after losing his father figure, at his most vulnerable moment, found stick. stick became a guardian of sorts. he *needed* that guiding relationship, and he *needed* stick. and then stick told him not to be close to anyone. ever. if he wanted to help anyone else. stick told matt that he couldn’t get attached, that he essentially needed to put the lives of everyone else before his, because stick taught him that he was the solution the the problem that he didn’t know about. some people call him self righteous, for acting like a martyr. but- his father figure, the one that was extremely important in his life at the moment, told him that his purpose was to fight, push everyone one else away, be a fucking weapon. he told him not to be close to people. and then he left, for that exact reason. imagine- imagine that every relationship you ever had, there was this ticking clock that counted down the days until you were too close- needed them too much. and then they would slip away. every relationship made you selfish, every time you leaned on someone for support, you were ignoring your one purpose. every. damn. time. of course he has goddamn trust issues. of course he acts with the same self sacrificial, self righteous, martyr bullshit. he was raised as a catholic and trained as a weapon, the idea that he was meant for one thing in this world was fed into his prepubescent, grief stricken fucking head. that and he had an incredibly strong and kind heart. anyway, there’s my rant uwu
At least karen was here to console him. But i remember matt cried in another scene, he was in daredevil suit. He was alone in that room. And i felt so bad for him at that scene
It always made me mad how Karen and Foggy got so mad at him for not telling them that he was daredevil but I mean, why don't they try to look in his shoes and know that maybe he was afraid it would hurt the people he loved, or that he would lose them. Why can't they look at his side?
think this show should definitely have a trigger warning. especially for survivors of abuse and sexual assault. i’m not holding that against the show though. i just finished watching season 1 and i had to pause 3 separate times across 2 episodes. this scene was one of those times. i’ve been hurting for so long thinking i have nobody to rely on or turn to when i need help. this is so immensely relatable, heartbreaking, and, above all else, real. from a MARVEL PROJECT…god. thank you daredevil.
