I can tell you that .. it was fucking awesome! No voice, no singer/vocalist .. no one has ever come close to Layne’s masterful & legendary voice & way of singing.

1990 Clash of The Titans tour which was Slayer, Anthrax, Megadeth and Alice In Chains was amazing. 3 times on Dirt tour, one time as Mad Season. He was my Favorite singer Ever and Live was incredible and you could feel his voice and no one can ever match him

Yeah my mom had a pet goat 🐐 that hated everybody but her, and it was so protective of my mom it was hilarious butting anyone even approaching my mother's personal space fucking damn thing got me a few times...and it just hated me because I think it thought I was trying to take all my moms attention and affection. It would rear up on its hind legs only and head butt me in the nads super forcefully and painfully. Damn I wanted to sacrafice that evil creature!!! 😈 and I was just usually trying to see what she wanted done next on the football field, damn had 2 bad beats...

None of their jokes are funny. Absolutely none. They tried way too hard to be edgy, and it was incredibly lame and unnecessary. Just because they made good music doesn’t mean you have to laugh at all their corny jokes and lame comments. 🙄
@dewilew2137 Well, that's your opinion, and you're entitled to it. I happen to think Layne was hysterical. And the people I've met throughout the years who knew Layne personally said he was genuinely a funny guy. Besides, my comment was about their sarcasm.

That type of sarcasm did seem to be pervasive in that music scene back then. When the whole grunge thing first blew up, some mainstream news source called up someone from the Seattle scene and asked them what some of the slang was, and what they meant, and whoever it was just started making up fake lingo and definitions. I'm assuming whoever commented and got all angry about their supposed attempts at edginess, didn't live in those times, and just doesn't get what it was like back then.

Crazy I named my only child Ellayna Peighton in order to honor 2 GOAT's of their crafts Layne Staley(singer)Walter"Sweetness" Payton(Best NFL Running Back of all time IMO). She has been really doing her names of legendary greatness justice by excelling musically and in her quest to beccome the best most elete athlete you can possibly be!!! I wish Layne would have read "Never Die Easy" a Payton Bio that inspires people to never quit working to become the best at whatever they enjoy doing in life and never give up on your dreams to become the best person you possibly can be and to be truly righteous and stay humble knowing you will never stop learning and striving to better yourself in all facets of your life, and fight to keep living until the bitter end no matter how grim an outlook your condition even when it might seem to be an unwinnable feat to live another day here on this crazy planet full of even crazier evil people that may try to drive a good person such as yourself to stoop to their evil ways in order to make themselves look better...fuck that and fuck them eletist musicians...
