Good, practical information. I need an upper to finish my first build of an 80% lower and this will probably be it.

Its wild, he put thousands of rounds through it in full auto, surpressed in a couple days, with very minimal cleaning and it functioned very well. He then proceeds to shit on it. Ive had a PSA 16" AR for 7 years and an 8.5" 300 Blackout for 2 years and had literally zero issues. PSA makes quality rifles.

I think years ago PSA’s freedom line was like their cheapest of the cheap uppers, and they probably have gone and done away with that terminology on their website, but you can pretty much guarantee. It’s their cheapest.

It is cheap, for sure...in an interview the CEO had an excellent quote. "I know what I need to make on each item. Don't ask why mine is so cheap, ask why theirs is so expensive."

I ordered one of these after watching his video to try out should be here any minute. I will never put that many rounds through it so not too worried about burning it out. Still trying to decide if I’m going to put my suppressor on it or not.

I think you will be fine. I'd not, please let me know.

1:7 twist is not really standard. 1:8 or 1:9 are normal. 1:7 is short barrel or heavy bullet 70+gr.

Sorry, I meant standard in that, it's a common twist rate for a barrel, not mil standard.
