If you look at the history of black sitcoms made in the 70s, 80s and 90s you see this pattern of comedy, hardship, struggle, racism, poverty, drugs and gun violence. That's why a lot of them go cancelled.
Sad… but neither son would be dead if she had pushed for then betterment of her children. I understand being idle working just to survive and provide but you gotta push forward if you see your children are being influenced by the streets
