For a pc + cellphone use do we need to use the power supply ? Or the usb cable is enough to use it ? I ask this question because we are on flex office and sometime we don’t have an electric plug on the desk
We have a couple of awesome options for you send us an email info@headsetadvisor.com there's a few that are usb powered it would need to be a usb-c port though as it supplies enough power. It's convenient usb-c powered base with bluetooth functionality for the cellphone.
When I press the button on the earpiece it does not light up a green button, i have a "computer" icon or a "deskphone" icon.... Also what is the piece needed to answer while away from desk?
You'll want to go through troubleshooting with where it was ordered or from Poly directly, and the piece needed to answer when away from the desk depends on the make/model of your desk phone.
Most of the headsets at our office are having issues with feedback/echoing and also the pick up button taking 4 or more attempts to pick up the incoming calls
My earpiece will not sit flush in the charging base. I have to make microscopic adjustments to get it to charge and stop beeping. Any little vibration on my desk will dislodge it and start the beeping anew. Not sure if I got a dud or what, but I can't find any other complaints about that issue online
This is a flaw we've found in the product since Poly acquired Plantronics (now HP), which is also why we no longer offer this product. We'd recommend contacting Poly to see if they will replace it.
I just bought one of these and thus far, I love it. It's only connected to my computer though. It's plugged in correctly to my dial-pad, but it's not connected. Is there some setting I need to use or button to push to switch it from computer to phone? How do I tell if my dial pad is not compatible? Do I need to get a different phone?
“Headset and Telephone, call center headset” model: HT300. I got it second hand and just use the dial pad. It wouldn’t surprise me if it’s just not compatible. If that is the case, can you recommend some cost effective options?
Yes, this would work for both desk phone and laptop. That being said, it may not be your best choice. If you can help us understand your environment and needs a bit more, we can let you know for certain if this is the way to go.
Thank you so much. Someone else hook it up and then I was unable to use it. Seeing this video and placing the cord in the right spot, (headset icon), and wala!! It works.
Hi Georg, you’ll need to press the button on your earpiece to answer/end calls. There’s no feature we’re aware of to auto answer calls without pressing a button on the headset while being worn.
Hi Crystal, most likely this is being caused by to many volumes turned up to high. On the bottom of the charging base is an A-G switch, can you make sure that's on A. Also, there's a mic/speaker setting, make sure both are on two and set your desk phone volume no higher then 75%. Let us know if that helps.
Can pairing voyager 3200 to voyager 5200 office?
Unfortunately not
I try to connect to my Panasonic KX-TS600MX, deskphone icon is green but I cannot hear anything as well as the mic isn’t working. Any suggestions?
Please do one with phone line and connection the poly with the APP-51
Here's an APP-51 setup video ruclips.net/video/BmSAT_dZOs8/видео.html
How do I turn off the internal ringer on the 5200 Office base?
What accessory is needed to answer calls with voice over ip, no phone or handset?
Hi Heather, no accessory would be required but not all VoIP softphones allow remote answering with a wireless headset. Which carrier do you have?
Can you use the base connected to the router voip line to answer calls
No it needs to be connected to a corded desk phone ☎️ or a computer
@@HeadsetAdvisor so computer only is fine is via usb port?
@@akasha1337 Yes, but in that case if you only needed computer connection you'd want the Voyager 5200 UC and not the 5200 office.

I already have the voyager 5200 that connects to my pc and mobile, do i just need the base to use my headset with my desk phone?
You would need the Office version. The charging base isn't sold separately unfortunately.

My incoming calls hear an echo. They hear themselves talk which is so distracting that I cannot use the device.
