    The first comment I made about you, I told you that I thought you would be a pain in the rear end. Then I concluded my comment by saying a great big WOW.. you are really quite fantastic as an artist, and as a teacher.
    Since that particular comment I've come to learn that you are indeed a very talented fellow in more ways than one.
    You have a great future ahead of you. Your honesty with your viewers is both pleasing and refreshing. This honesty approach makes you more 'human' and gives the viewer the confidence that we can learn a lot from you.
    Thank you with respect.

    Hey dude, just wanted to let you know how much I appreciated this video series. You bring such a calmness into the process and it is such a kind reminder that you don’t need to be so harsh on yourself during the process. I always find myself scrutinizing the decisions or mistakes I make when painting and I can end up really just over thinking them. The way you approached this really just integrated this radical acceptance of being open to the reworking experience that goes into any painting. I also appreciate the advice you provide without getting too technical.
    Thanks dude. I’m grateful for what you do. It’s nice knowing that there are people out here that create beautiful sights with so much consideration. Hope you are well and still crushing it!

    I thought acrylic had the clear "white" stuff flow enhancer I think its called helps with it not drying out so fast, very inspiring

    What do you use for the base color and medium paint on it? I'm a beginner who doesn't know anything because I'm interested in oil paintings. (I used a Google translator)

    • @ChrisKempter
      @ChrisKempter  11 месяцев назад +1

      I base my bottom color off what I want the final painting to look like. So if the mid tones are a burnt umber the. That’s what I’m going to paint as my base color. So a good rule of thumb is whatever your mid tones are, that’s your base color.

      @@ChrisKempter Thank you. I have so many questions. I'm not good at English so I apologize for using a translator :) What kind of oil do you use? Even after watching other videos, I can't figure out how to use the oil.

    • @ChrisKempter
      @ChrisKempter  11 месяцев назад

      @starbucks1971 I use acrylic paint. That is a water based paint instead of oil paint. It’s easier to learn with.
