Hey uhhh he's actually worked with a lot more artists than this. He produced Lovelyz debut and predebut, Ladies Code post accident comeback, he produced Yukika's debut and comeback, he's produced for Heize and Miss A - and a ton of less idol type independent artists
ooh😯 i already had a list bc of the songs in my playlist, but when i was looking for more songs that jj worked on, they didn't come up with his name in the credits so i didn't know
i'm sorry but he's the only art director in kpop that i truly like. i can listen to his loona and triples albums fully, while with other kpop artists i just get bored mid album or with the title track. the mvs he directed are all artistic and peculiar. and i think the smear campaign orbits conducted against him for years was so undeserved... they still talk about him like he's some criminal, but like... whatever honestly i don't care anymore and i just listen to whatever he puts out with his groups because i know they will always be a hit
Many have split options on JJ as a Person. Regardless what one may think, his creative direction and artistry he has created for the groups he worked with being •Lovelyz •Ladies Code •Loona •OnlyOneOf •TripleS His work is something admirable and deserves the recognition and credit he deserves.😌 Separate the art from the artist some may say.✨
if the art directly comes from the artist that means that if the person is a bad person then the art is bad and it shouldn't be enjoyed now on the other hand if the art is completely separated from the artist that means god is creating the art through the artist and the artist is nothin but an NPC BOT tool and we shouldn't give the artist any credit cause he's just a puppet pick only one, you can't have both.
@ or You can separate the art from the Artist. The art can be admired and appreciated for what it is as you can ignore the Artist as a whole. Opinions differ from one another as you can’t make somebody choose between 2 options.
no one can deny that he has a very clear artistic direction for his projects. the way he combines music and visuals in one whole is special. the loonaverse project was outstanding and, dare i say, groundbreaking. i've never seen such a well crafted, coherent artistic project in kpop before loonaverse. the lore, the music, the visuals and, of course, the members - it was perfect. i miss the loonaverse era so much. though artms are great "successors", "virtual angel" was a masterpiece in my opinion, i literally was in awe while watching the music video. jaden jeong really is a visionary.
honestly as a designer & artist myself i have SO MUCH respect for JJ, idc what other orbits say (80% of the stuff they say is misinfo/mistranslations anyways lmao), this man is an artistic genius ! everything he works on seems so genuine and meaningful (e.g. butterfly, girls never die, the whole loona and tripleS lore), i so badly want to have a look into his brain / his thought process and ideas ◉‿◉
i think producers that he works with deserve a lot of credits as well, i dont like jaden as a person for debuting minors for example and not listening to fans but i separate art from the artist and what he does as a creative director is an amazing job for sure why is cher in the description though...
Can someone tell me why they hate it? I'm not aware of everything he's done, but I always see someone saying that, wasn't he also a victim of Blockberry and had they fired him or something?
He has made some great music, but I will never forgive him for deleting the Loona Ballad Album with him when he left Blockberry...Hyper Ballad should have been the best song ever conceived of!
not to defend him but he didn't really delete it, artms said in an interview that they never recorded the whole thing in the first place, they just sang the parts in the teasers 😭
he didnt actually delete it, heejin and haseul performed crystal ballad (blooming moon) it at her solo concert (a dream of haseuls she thanked him multiple times for letting her achieve). a lot of apprehension orbits have about him is often based misinformation / stuff that gets lost in translation. when the girls speak about him (not nameless "directors", specifically jaden) they pretty much have nothing but nice things to say. (yves cried on the phone with him when she left bbc, haseul thanks him for believing in her and being the only one at bbc to see her potential to debut, chuu thanking him for her stage name and heart attack, etc etc) jinsoul also mentioned in 2023 how the album was never fully recorded, only the snippets for the highlight medley. that is why hyeju said orbits should probably stop waiting for it: bbc didnt have the demos and they never knew how they went because jaden was gone. lastly, jaden has mentioned releasing the songs under artms basically since they signed (nme article) any time the artms members mention it, they say they want to show it to us in a good light / state. so just be patient!
@@cryingsobbing nice that's good news! My comment wasn't even meant to be taken seriously, but thanks for doing it anyway and providing an insightful answer!
Time to catch you up to speed😆 The album itself never actually existed, same with the songs. The snippets that were made was all that was made of them cause they were rushing and hustling so many different things and by the time of JJ’s departure, BBC just shelved the project entirely. It is true that Crystal Ballad/ Blooming Moon was performed by HeeJin and HaSeul during HaSeul’s Mini Theater Concert. JJ had said he is opening to re-release La Maison again, but at the right time. Most Orbits believe that it is being saved for the Loona Reunion. He never deleted it, same With Burn, Burn didn’t make it far and it set Loona back majorly. Even then we know Burn is alive, and we think it will be LOONA’s reunion comeback.
LOONA's music production before they left their company was way better than ARTMS and tripleS now. it had a more accurate bass presentation, better treble sparkle and coherent vocals. yes it was a bit dry but thats the price you pay for accuracy. I much prefer LOONA's old production quality. now everything sounds like you enabled TAA on a video game, blurry and incoherent mess to hide the jagged edges of everything. this simultaneously makes things warmer yes but at the same time you lose all the level of detail that makes things SHINE. no more peaks and valleys.. now its just a long and boring highway to nowhere. which is perfect for putting a song in the background while you're doing something else but you can never enjoy an overly blurry song if you're paying attention to it in an attempt to try and enjoy the song actively. kpop is extremely boring now because of this overly warm and blurry production problem. and fyi, LOONA is also way worse compared to groups like LOVELYZ its gets exponentially more and more dry but the accuracy goes up so its like we're sacrificing clarity and coherence for warmth and its starting to get super boring without treble detail and shine.

he's been in the industry for a whileee. i think he also did boa one shot two shot but i could be wrong

OnlyOneOf Sage is such a hidden gem.
its actually one of my favorite onlyoneof songs!

The songs he has worked on are Masterpiece. Thank you Jaden Jeong!!
“Thank you JJ”
We all say in unison
THANK YOU JJ!!!!!!
Thank you JJ👩🏼🦲😁😁
the playlist hits so hard !!!
The most important is all the team behind it
period!!!!
I’m crying why is there only the same three groups

i'm sorry to tell you but 2:54 jj had no hand in the creation of black soul dress, is an all park sohyun production 👍
thats what i was about to say!!!
he was on the writing team with sohyun but yes she did do a lot of the production
He did participate in the writing
Ok, all songs total average, except of one lucky punch: Loona - Butterfly.
Most songs in the video are hits! The "meh" one was Butterfly, indeed.
Well everyone have different taste, but for me he's the only producer that always makes an unskipable songs and albums in kpop 🤷🏻♀️
How, butterfly was the most boring song here. Closely followed by touch
