I became a fan of kpop in 2015. 2015-2016 was such a golden era. 2015-2016 was full of many smaller trends that made waves, instead of the whole industry being swept away by one or two major trends a time. 2016 was so refreshing and I miss it
It's super nostalgic for me too! I got into kpop Dec 2015, so 2016 was the first year I saw all the new releases and there was so much variety. I had such a great time 🥺
I became a K-pop fan in 2015, but I didn’t know much… I mostly only listened to BIG BANG and 2NE1 and BTS at first… so 2016 is really the year I got into every other group. Feels very nostalgic 😢😊
I first started listening to kpop in 2015 with mostly exo, and other 2nd gen groups like bigbang, snsd, suju, 2ne1 etc. and became a full-fledged fan in 2016 with Astro’s debut and fire and save me by bts…nct’s debuts, blackpink, rv’s Russian roulette…that’s when I also started listening to krnb like dean and crush…oh 2016🥹🫶🏽
I only got into kpop in about 2021, but it's Blood, Sweat and Tears that really tipped me over into being a fan, so 2016 will always be an important year in kpop for me!
@@KpopStuffs Whiplash is made by american - british producers and both lyrics and the music video were not made by koreans. We have to face the fact thats its the unnatural progression and that kpop sounds like Whiplash nowadays but modern kpop songs have too many english words in its lyrics and the instrumentals are often done by american producers which results in its westernisation in both sound and feel.
I can’t wait for this series to drag us kicking and screaming into tropical house 😂
