Thank you Tim for two very interesting videos of a line I knew nothing about! And a special thank you to the staff of the Nuria railway who made the videos possible,
What a fantastic video. Stunning views of the mountains and valleys. But my thoughts are with the men who built this railway in all that terrain probably in horrible weather conditions and some of them losing their lives in the progress. I would like to thank the two ladies in the ticket office for letting you get permission to use a camera in the cab of the train.
Hello James, the original route was even more hair raising, the long tunnels replaced a ledge cut around the cliff face that used to carry the railway. Navvies had a tough life and their legacy is a credit there hard work and bravery, one slip could have resulted in serious injury or even the loss of life. I was quite taken back by the ladies in the ticket office, they really went the extra mile to help me.

Hi Tim! Now it's downhill again. A wonderful view of the landscape says the trip was worth it👍. Winter is back for us and I sent you some photos today in the morning. Best regards from Hans and Cheers 🍻🇦🇹.
Hello Hans, the only thing missing in the photos you sent was an elderly gentleman with a beer in his hand, wearing a red coat lined with white fur sitting in a slay pulled by a team of rein deer. I'm glad you enjoyed the ride, Northern Spain really is beautiful. It must be time for beer, Cheers 🙂. Tim.

Hi, I knew nothing about Apeldoorn, so I looked it up on the internet where I found a wikipedia article about the town/city. It looks a very busy place with a lot going on, it is also home to a number household name busuness headquartes. I've learned something new today 🙂. I'm glad you enjoyed this ride, also another place I knew very little about, the world is full of pleasant surprises.
Hello, I'm pleased you enjoyed the ride, I did visit and travel on the Jeaune train, sadly the railway would not allow a camera on the front of the train.
Thank you Tim for this wonderful video of our very endearing and beloved rack Núria. If you have the opportunity to visit the area, don't hesitate for a minute to make the excursion to Vall de Núria, a place that can only be reached by the aforementioned zip line or on foot. If your physical condition allows it, make the journey on foot from Queralbs (the last town you can reach in your car) to the Santuari de Núria following the "old road of Núria". It is a spectacular route that will allow you to enjoy the landscape in all its splendour, especially because since the inauguration of the long tunnel seen in the video (for safety reasons) the train journey has lost part of its original spectacularity . You can return to Queralbs on the zip line and thus save yourself the journey back on foot.
