Nine percent but RUclips put a decimal in front of my nine. It took me six minutes to find where it was on my studio; I don’t care so much about CTR right now. However, your video looks amazing! You doing the editing yourself? I especially love the introduction. You always have good hooks and excellent content. For seven weeks on the platform; your performance and knowledge is more like seven years with Mr Beast as your coach. Great job my friend
@@HomesteadMadeEz hahaha, seriously wrong place for the decimal :D Thanks for the kind words, yeah I'm doing all my own editing with CapCut. I'm actively working on making my first 30 seconds more interesting to help with audience retention. Having good retention means YT will push the video out more which would lead to more views/subs/watch time.
Mine is 4% atm but unless I start getting some better click-thru on my next videos, this will probably continue to drop. Trying my best to get better titles and thumbnails
Thanks for another great video Ty, I look forward to the follow up video. In my quest to research starting a YT channel, I once watched a workshop with two creators and one of them said "the less visual noise on a thumbnail, the higher the CTR" they were of the opinion that there should be no more than 3 main elements on a thumbnail. I once heard Pat Flynn of Deep Pocket Monster say that he creates all of his videos based on "banger titles & thumbnails!". It's a lot to take in when starting out but I appreciate your content and your transparency showing us your YT studio x
I'm trying to eliminate the clutter/noise and keep it to just a few strong elements, but it is pretty tough to know when to stop haha. In the follow up, I talk bit about a creator who does a wonderful breakdown of the psychology of winning the click. More to come!
I find thumbnails and titles so frustrating. Just checked out those thumb nail checker- thanks for the heads up. My click thought rate is 4.9 which is alright by the margins you have but there are huge swings in that number video to video.
Same! I usually wait until the last minute to make mine and I'm always flustered to get it done so they are usually bad. I just watched this video - ruclips.net/video/0TolBiTrUg4/видео.html Which does a really good job of deep-diving into what makes a good thumbnail. It's a bit much to digest but I'm hopeful I can incorporate a few tips from it.
@@Ty_Myers thanks mate. Just checked it out. Looks like I need to modify my thought process before modifying my thumb nails. Really god video, thank you for the heads up on it. 👍
What is your channel click-through-rate %? Are you happy with where you are? What is your plan to improve?

@@Ty_Myers I'll focus a lot more time on the first 30 seconds of my video tomorrow and then let you know how it works out.

I appreciate the tips on the free websites for feedback on thumbnails. I think this will be very helpful as I create my channel.
You are the next Sean Cannel!!!!
omg haha, that's so funny and very kind, but also I'm going to be the first Ty Myers 💪
Very clear explanation

I always ALWAYS forget tip # 3 then I’m scrambling with a thumbnail image then I just let YT choose 🤦🏾♀️
