I went to the opening ceremony, animator panel, and closing ceremony so I've seen it 3 times and it still is not enough and would to show my family so I would like to know when you are uploading it to RUclips? Post-con depression has already kicked in. However, I want to thank everyone, from the attendees to the staff, for making BronyCon so great. I can't ask for a better birthday. Tomorrow; I have to get on my plane back to reality, back to the Netherlands, but I'll never forget how amazing you all are. My post-con depression is even more painful because I live so far away from you all. I miss everyone dearly, but knowing that we live on the same speck of dust across space and time, that we breathe the same air, and that we all stare at the same sky, connected by light, is enough to give me comfort that all of you are close. These thoughts are enough to make a man tear up. The memories I got from the convention will remain forever in my heart. And no matter where I go, or how far I am, you guys will be there with me. And that's why you guys will always be close to me no matter how long the distance might be. See you in 2016. /)
I remember the agony well, friend. My first year post-con depression (2014) was so bad I literally had an alcohol induced nervous breakdown. It was a very bad period of my life but was due in large part to the current place I was at in my life. This year I'm in a much better place and while I'm sad Bronycon is done, I'm so happy I was able to experience it again. I don't feel depressed even though I'm nowhere near another Brony for miles. My friend, you will be just fine. It hurts so much to leave a place where I feel I truly belong and don't feel out of place, and I'm certain others feel the same, but here's to hoping Bronycon 2016 will (like this year) be so much better than the last one. I was able to cope with my post-con depression last year by writing a story dealing with life inside and outside the convention weekend. If you have a DeviantART account, I can post it for you.

Funny, it’s nearly been a whole entire decade since I last heard this. The time flies by so quickly. I saw this first when I was 11 years old. I’m now 21 years old.
Back then, I didn't care about Opening Ceremonies. However, after seeing this, I'm kicking myself for missing this awesome moment. Next year, I will go to Opening Ceremonies.
I have a dream, of finally being able to go to Bronycon. I have a dream, of being able to travel by myself and have enough money to go to Bronycon. I have a dream, of being born before fucking 1997 in my next life to be old enough to go to Bronycon without a fucking problem.

It was because this guy outside (from what I think) Was outside for each Brony convention, repeatly singing ' Buy some ice cold watah And its only one dollah' And it just kinda happened. Became an icon

I don't think we're on the same page. I was talking about the shaking of the camera this video was recorded with, rather than about the animation itself. As you focus on the animation you are not paying attention to the three dimentional space with the video playing on the wall. The constant slight movement of the camera gets percieved as the video moving across your screen. For me, that makes the video a little hard to watch, which is what I understand under the term "trippy".
I would have loved to have able to show up to this. Honestly, I had planned to attend the opening ceremonies but I was simply stuck waiting in line the entire time, just waiting to get my badge. Sorry about that, BC.

As soon as one of your friends pointed out my message came across as rude I immediately felt like a scumbag. I struggle with putting my thoughts into text form so much that I had to hire a "liason" between me and the BronyCon staff so we could get good morning Baltimare done. I hope you can forgive me.
You are forgiven. If I could have found a way to let you get the recognition you OBVIOUSLY deserved on that animation, I would have. But I didn't really come to think that releasing my animation at a certain time would affect other peoples videos as well. I see all of your animations and I'm like "Shouldn't these videos have like, 50 time more views than they actually do?" And I understand your reasoning and I'm sorry that it had that much of an affect on you. And trust me, I totally get it when you say that text chat doesn't express emotion correctly. I usually do the same thing. :P
Regarding my experience this year. I was there for that ceremony and it was a lot of fun and the whole convention was just fun in general but for me I did everything too fast and plus I don't like wondering around the city of Baltimore because it just made me feel sad, from seeing the homeless people, and the racial tensions that I felt. Just saying.

I was there for that ceremony and it was a lot of fun and the whole convention was just fun in general but for me I did everything too fast and plus I don't like wondering around the city of Baltimore because it just made me feel sad, from seeing the homeless people, and the racial tensions that I felt.
