I just noticed that the Pirate crew seemed to resemble some provinces in Canada. The Captain is Saskatchewan obviously. The one with the Cowboy hat being from Alberta. The wool hat pony with the Fir tree Cutie Mark from British Columbia. The one with a raincoat and beard hailing from Newfoundland or somewhere on the Maritimes (Nova Scotia, PEI, New Brunswick). And lastly the one with the flower cutie mark seems to be from Ontario.

This is a magnum opus. from an animation perspective. This is a magnificent bar to set for yourself. I can't stop watching it. Ah, Saskatchewan. The most empty boring part of Canada with the biggest sky you'll ever see. Fun fact, Canada has three major pipelines feeding directly into the United States. An Oil Pipeline, Water Pipeline and of course our most precious commodity the Maple Syrup Pipeline.
