Can german people explain me, what is the german mentality on cars? i mean how germans see the ownership of a car? how long they usually keep it? how often they change it ,how new it must be? or how many km it must have? What are the kind of germans that still use a 20 years old car? How many km you drive per year? Are you guys consider cars like Audi A7/A8 after 2010 being Reliable? When you should change your car? I really want to hear opinions of real germans that live in germany, not other dudes that lives in other coutries and say that germans thinks like or do like that etc.
As far a I know for many people in Germany a car is a status symbol. I know a few people which own car only because they want to not because they need to. They say it is cool to have one and of course many things are easier to do with a car. I’d guess most people here keep their car 5 years at max but there are some that keep them for 10 years and rarely there people that keep their cars for 20 years or longer. I am currently 22 years old and the people I know around my age consider cars newer than 2005 new enough but I do not really care if it’s a good car. I drive a 1993 VW Vento, 1.9 TD with 75 HP and although it is not fast I do like it. The people that still use their car after 20 years are probably older people that love their car and are able fix a lot themselves. I drive about 20k km per year (though because of Covid that is currently not the case) I guess Audis after 2010 are still reliable but it all depends on good you care for it I think. And I’d say you should change your car if it is to expensive to fix or if you could get a better car for the price the repair would be. I am probably very different from the average German car owner though so I can’t say if many would agree with me
@@revoltec3792thank you so much for taking your time to answer to my questions 😊 even if you own a very old car, i guess that german people don't wanna hear or have an old car anymore, or they don't wanna get back to an old car ,which is 20 years old or something like that. Probably you see very rare a car from 2001 in germany, which in my country is the opposite, you see THOUSAND of them. Also i guess like germans lease them? i mean they don't buy a new one cash, they have a leasing ,and after that they sold them? as you said they don't have the interest to keep their car more than 5 years, as guess that they probably want newer and newer every time. The wanna drive the new model.

@@a.melekh7936 хахахаха 170
@@a.melekh7936 170 год разгонятся...
its a cheap ,good car which takes you everywhere you want.
For me, there are 100 better ways to spend your money then in a car ;)
Love old polo ! ♡
God damn i miss mine.
had the 45hp version, a true shitbox.
had 5 guys with bags in there, kept going like a champ, hadnt let me stranded once.
Damn son you were approaching warp speed for a second 😳😂
Makes my 1.6 Audi A3 8P feel like a F1 car ;)
✨0-180 KMH takes only one eternity ✨
The jump pack to start the car is priceless
I love it! Who want's to see supercars when you have these ones... 🙌😌👌
My dad got this exact car with 1.0L engine in 1999 and now i'm driving it daily with 300 000 km. It's reliable, smooth and economic, even their problemd are easy to fix and you don't get that annoying check engine light haha.
pretty decent speed for that power .. damn
A Nissan Micra 1.0 same year, used to go 200km/h.
Japans make good petrol engines.
Germans do better on diesel
@@gazepelbasan9758 When driving off a cliff, you mean? ;)
@@gazepelbasan9758 yeah sure my golf 4 1.6 105PS ran barely 200, this japanese shitbox does the same with 600ccm less. Hang in a GPS and you will be surprised
@@motherfuckerstyle1 Germans have no idea how to make petrol engine. Diesel yes.
@@gazepelbasan9758 yeah thats Bullshit… to clear it up, maybe your micra went 200 on the Dash, but its not possible to reach 200 with 50-60 Horses… its just not possible. In reality i think it may have went 170 maybe
Finally a worthy opponent for me and my Golf IV 1.9 SDI. Btw S stand for sport
lol
Hahaha good car. You need two long white tape lines on your hood
this was my childhood car, oh how much i loved it
Fun to see the beginning that the car battery died lol this is gonna be fun to see!!!
This ride used to be soo popular in my country 10 years ago
Now it's the polo 9n. I have a 1.2 petrol 9n, 64 HP. It s a fun car, because u floor it all the time
that's really quick, my 1989 starlet ep70 1.0 struggle just to get to 130km/h
Potwór 😎

As always super! Go on, more regular old cars, it much interesting. Hello from Donbass!
Those intake valves must be really clean!!!
i like when he chuckled when he gets passed by that van 5:36
Amazing driver u are. Love d ambiance.. 👍
i like how he sniggers in the videos at the funny moments
Funny to see this now... (I didn't search for this) the polo 6n was my first car. (a 1.6 16v GTI from '99) I've bought it back in 2005 and drove it till last week. And tomorrow it goes to the little brother of my best friend. I hope he will has as much fun as I had. This car had never let me down.
Top 😅😅😅😅😅
1.0 and 50hp runs over 155 is incredible
Seems funny to see this after I just watched a rs6 doing the same thing 😂 still cool though.
I have a 1995 polo running on LPG and it is the most fun thing ever!
I drive about 20k km per year (though because of Covid that is currently not the case)
I guess Audis after 2010 are still reliable but it all depends on good you care for it I think.
@@totalro5049 yes people usually lease here
Great video! Really enjoyed that.
Me in my Panda on the ring road every single evening.
Same, then you get stuck behind a white Audi in the twisties. :-(
PS does yours have a redline? Mine doesn't. I'd like to think thats because its Italian and designed to rev the nuts off, it sounds really unhealthy above 8K though...
i would very appreciate if u testing a Trabant 601 from Est- Germany :D
My grandmother has one of these, it's so funny to drive

Cars from that time were so awesome cos theyre affordable nowadays, reliable and honest
going full beans and still getting passed by vans was funny as hell
Reving a cold engine isnt the best thing to do
It wasn't cold. The temp gauge was in the middle at the 12 o'clock position, which means the engine was warm.
Great to see a car from the real world. Much faster than my 66 vw. Fine channel, more slow car please
My first car was one of these. Didn’t it would go that fast off a cliff, never mind on an autobahn! Brilliant!

I used to drive thus car from time to time when I was younger because my grandma had this one as well. I remember to have liked the car because the steering was so light and it drove really chill despite the very small engine only.
