- In today's video I go over the idle issue I've been having on my evo. I've been trying to fix it for a while now and I think I've finally figured it out.

I will watch every Evo idle issue video cause the reality is that we all have probably 5 of them, and one is just more annoying than the others at any given time.
Your process is great, from the Explaining, situation breakdown and attention to detail. I bet you solved this problem for many Evo drivers that were experiencing the same issue…awesome work RayView. Keep it up and keep these videos coming twice a week…super informative & I don’t even have an Evo…..I’m a Hyundai Booooooy !!!!
Damn looks like they dont sell the delete anymore- but i am suprised you fixed it like that. Nice
Surprised you went for the EGR.When you have air leaks at the throttle body.Always do a boost leak test before you throw a tonne of cash at it..
So by deleting the egr did your evo run way better and no idle issues anymore?? Did a CEL light come on after removal of egr?
I'm having the same issue car starts fine but idle accurs after warm up.
This seemed to fix the issue for me. I have since sold my evo but the CEL was on when I sold it. Best thing to do is smoke test then proceed to check EGR etc. those hoses back there are notorious for leaking.
Iac is the cause of my idling issue it keeps stalling. Replaced it and it’s gone.
Why did you sell it?
@@4682felipe I just found that the evo sat in the garage more than I was enjoying it this was due to the endless issues and constant worry of breaking down. Logically made sense to sell and buy something I could drive without worry. I bought a GR Corolla. Reminds me of what an Evo 9 would’ve been brand new.
@therayview8107 I'm thinking of getting a evo 8 my in law has one and this is what worries me is the maintenance/breakdowns & and discontinued parts . I'm getting a killer deal but it's is not a clean title, no frame damage, and can't decide to pull the trigger
@@4682felipe they aren’t terribly expensive to maintain but modified do require more attention. If it’s in good running order with no lights it may be worth the buy.
@@4682felipehm you get for it
