This ground beef tacos recipe is awesome. ground beef tacos are so easy to make,beef tacos are great!!!
INGREDIENTS- FOR THE TACO FILLING (12-16 Tacos)
-2 lb ground beef
-1 large onion (chopped)
-1tsp minced garlic
-1/4 cup olive oil
-1/2 cup mixed bell pepper(diced)
-28g taco seasoning mix
-1/4cup salsa
-salt to taste

INGREDIENTS FOR THE TOPPING
-taco shells
-salsa
-lettuce
-cheddar cheese
-sour cream
-Lime
-Red onions
-DIRECTION-
In a pan add 1/4cup olive oil on medium heat,then add 1 large onions(chopped), minced garlic and salt,sautee the onions untill it's get light brown,when the onions turns light brown add ground beef,cook the beef for 7-8mins on medium-high heat,stir the beef in between.after that add bell peppers,taco seasoning and salsa,stir well and cook for another 5 min.
when the beef is ready,prepare all the ingredients for topping!!

Taco seasoning is basically. Cumin, paprika, garlic powder, chili powder, bit a cayenne, salt and pepper. Great for soft tacos for those of us getting short on the tooth.

i grind my ground beef,after it's cookedi love the minced ground beef, fits better in the taco..i bought metal taco holders, not expensive and they make ptocess so easy

If you dont like salsa still add it in the beef it takes dry without it I've made it once with the salsa and once without and trust me there is a huge difference

I've never thought I needed to bake the shells. I guess this is how they get really crunchy. I must try this
Definitely bake them. Also if you have stale tortilla chips you can throw them in the oven for about 5 minutes and they taste fresh again!

There is a part where it says "stir in between", so for how many more minutes do you stir or let it cook before adding the mixed bell peppers?
Stir every 3-4 minutes and total ground beef cook time 7-8 minutes

@@chitown3622 I just bought the fake meat crumbles from the freezer section of the grocery store and prepared them as per the directions on the bag then followed this recipe! It was an easy substitution and tasted great!
