Thank you for documenting this build. I plan to do the same with my 54 Chevy truck. Do you know if the Mustang S550 IFS can be used as well? Would be great to have the S550 IFS and IRS instead of needing to purchase Mustang II, dated suspension for the front.
I’m sure you could make it work. All of the mounting points are on the subframe so getting it square and centered is all you have to really worry about which is nice. I don’t know of any kits to mount it though.
very good video! I'm building one here in Brazil and I'm in doubt about the size of the wheels due to the width of the Mustang's suspension, the same as the one you used. How many inches wide and what is the offset? What size tire did you use? thanks!!!
Hey buddy looking great! I just installed my 2015 s550 on my 70 shortbed from your videos. I had a question what wheel setup is that? I bought 20x11 0 offset and they stick out to far to put the bed on.

Bottom a arm where is it on your ride hight leavel plus you have a part number for them shocks please
Why not weld a piece of flat stock with two holes on bottom of tube.
