When you talked about being more decisive and actually choosing sounds “quickly” felt like you were talking to me. I know exactly what it’s like being in that little trap of trying to find “the right” sounds for way too long. I appreciated you talking about that.
Hey man, I hope your throat is better now! I just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate the advise about not being to perfectionist and getting music out there. Keeping things simple. Different styles require different techniques. Would love to hear more "motivational" advice from you! Thank you so much 🙏❤️
My friend, do you have a video on how to connect everything, such as turntable and midi controller into iPad? Do I need some sort of hub? And headphone connection? I appreciate any guidance thx!🙏🏼
Yeah true, but I’ve honestly exhausted my options at the moment 😂. I think we’ll see a new Maschine in the not too distant future and the MPC mini rumours still circulate. I’m definitely not done spending but it’s nice to have the cash back in the bank. 🙂
@@nervouscooks funny you mention that, just ordered a Maschine+. I spent an insane amount of time comparing it to MPC. I’ll probably end up with both in the long run, and use Koala after all 😂
@@bobbylimesmusic I’ve been tempted, as I’ve said it many times. The Maschine pads are just the best hands down. Soo sensitive and nice to use. The MPC is fine but the Maschine is like the Rolls Royce in terms of pads. I actually miss my MK3 for that reason and almost bought another as it was dirt cheap but I’m trying to be good!
@@nervouscooks excited to get them pads! B-stock deal on Reverb got me 💀Maschine seems the easiest way to sample my favorite instruments… DAW VSTs! I wish koala came in a box with Maschine pads, with basic ins/outs, and VST hosting somehow
So I have a Kingston Nucleum hub plugged into the iPad, then a cheap Behringer UCA222 audio interface plugged into the hub. My mixer is then plugged into the audio interface via RCA cables. It’s reliable and the quality is good. 👍
I do, I love my MPC but I hadn’t give Koala any love for a while so I thought I’d dust it off. If you have the MPC, it’s not really necessary to have the SP too but I couldn’t sell mine. There’s just something I love about it. 🙂
Very valuable tutorial for both Koala Sampler users and composers/beatmakers.
Thank you, I appreciate that 👍

Man me too!
Love this mindset 🔥 git it done
Simple in theory but not always easy to execute! 😂
ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS FORMAT. Take us into your mind and give us more insight on WHY you make certain choices.

Thanks for this video. Definitely a needed reminder about not overthinking shit.
Hope you’re feeling all the way better now 🔋

Feels good to sell stuff 🤘🏻 no regrets on GAS. Good to explore and realize it’s not for you. I do this often as well 🤘🏻

Do you still use the MPC one? Right now I am thinking about selling my SP 404 mk2 because it just sitting there looking nice.

I kept my sp404 mkii and sold my Mpc one !
@@Marthergunn I can understand that. It’s very capable and definitely enough to make good beats on. 👍
Another super dope video 🔥 cool to see koala on the table again ;) can’t wait to see the next one ! ☝️
