  • The Curtiss P-40 Warhawk is an American single-engined, single-seat, all-metal fighter and ground-attack aircraft that first flew in 1938.
he Warhawk was used by most Allied powers during World War II, and remained in frontline service until the end of the war. It was the third most-produced American fighter of World War II, after the P-51 and P-47; by November 1944, when production of the P-40 ceased, 13,738 had been built.

This particular model is a from Forces of Valor and is of the P-40B Warhawk during the attack on Pearl Harbour. It is in 1/72nd scale diecast. I think its a fantastic model from an infamous day and presents well with some very unique features and engine details.
Thanks again and have a great rest of your day.
    Cheers

I really want a diecast P40 model, but preferably the E or N variants. Unfortunately, the B variant is the only one available at a reasonable price.
On another note, does the model come with an option for the wheels to be retracted (as though it was in flight)?
    Cheers.

You can get an E variant in the premade easy model plastic ones, as I have one 😉. They are around $25AUD, but yes unfortunately the cheapest diecast E variant to me are around $70 - $80AUD. Which is alot for a 1:72 scale fighter. Thanks for checking out my video and commenting. Appreciate it. Cheers 🇦🇺

@@heavymetaldiecast Hey and thanks for the fast response. Also one last thing: Does the plane come with an option to switch out the undercarriage (to make it look as though the plane is in flight)?
      Cheers.

@@ari_seidel oh sorry I forgot to answer that from your first comment. From what I recall is it comes in wheels down only. No in-flight option but for me that isn't an issue as I don't display alot on stands. I put mine on their landing gear for display where possible. Thanks again for checking out my channel 😀 Cheers
