I love how you can stack clothes and armor in Morrowind. Really makes you get the drip. Skyrim is sadly lacking with this. Also it wouldn't make sense to wear armor without something underneath from a realistic standpoint

It's also much more historically accurate.
Hell, typical armor was an extreme cloth pie. Typically men had their undergarments, actual clothes, gambezon (First protective layer), chainmail and then a plate or the jack (Yes, the "jack" in cards refers to a common soldier wearing the jack-of-plate or simply The Jack, a poor man's plate made of small metal pieces multilayered with felt wool or canvas).
