aisha was ROBBED of an actual enchantix transformation sequence, i can understand her magic winx transformation being lackluster cause she only showed up in season 2 but her enchantix sequence being this bad is an actual crime😭
Idk, I like how her hair gets done and I like that the sequence is pretty fast because it looks so smooth
It looks like they were uninspired when there’s so many things to do with her transifrmation sequences.
@@maybe8985 they did the same with her belivix, it wasn’t as uninspired but it always felt to me like they were trying to make it as quick as possible to get to the other girls
I remember being a kid, having no idea what Enchantix was ( I had missed the episode where they explained it ), but just seeing Aisha transform, I was STUNNED, Enchantix just skyrocketed my love for Winx Club into a 7-year-long obsession lol.
Enchantix was just simply perfect. The designs, its story purpose. How can anyone not love Enchantix? It was the right call for Winx doing that for its 3rd season 😁
And Aisha will forever look better in green than teal, i’ll die on this hill. I need this green back in her current color palette (i’m not talking about her enchantix, she’s stunning in both.)

Both look great, but I prefer the green. I hope the reboot lets her experiment with darker shades with her civilian clothes, though.
I think that Layla does not go very pastel-colored. Maybe if they experimented with brighter, richer shades of green like the one she uses in her basic form, it would look better. But with the fact that there is a result - you can strangle me , but the blue version is 10 heads higher . With saturated shades of oceanic blue complemented by maybe lighter but still not so pale shades of pink and light green - Much better. The only time when I don't mind exactly such pastel shades on her its Harmonix. But there the general stylistics of the Greek - like robes of water nymphs worked for this , where brighter colors in the main costume would look out of place
I love the fact that Bloom's wings get frozen, showing that it's possible. And then later in the season that spell becomes the catylyst for Musa getting her enchantix! Season 3 is peak!

aisha deserved a better enchantix sequence, like there was no reason to keep it so short.
True, however the animators were being lazy after they animated her and the other girls. As someone, who has studied animation, I comprehend them very well. At least they did her some justice in the first film.

Hmm. This is just me, but somehow it makes sense there’s not much fanfare on it here. I mean, it is a triumphant moment, with Aisha saving the Mermaid Queen and getting new powers, but it’s also a bittersweet moment since she’s still blind. So, the moment being short, to me, fits the vibe of what’s just transpired. It’s a victory, but a Pyrrhic victory.

The only way these episodes could've been better is if Tritannus was a supporting villain here like Chimera. It'd make his story arc much more concise and focused.
Yeah but he didn't exist at the time. There weren't even mermans in Andros. So Tritannus, King Neptune and all that jazz were just big retcons on season 5's part. But I agree it would be interesting to have him in some sort of rewrites/reimaginings of the full show.

The reason why charmix does no longer exist in this season is because in S2 ep 26 they used all of it's power to defeat Darkar.
And this is exclusively a 4kids explanation. Another reason why the dub is so much better.
Honestly seasons one to four Stella is way better than season 5 to 8 Stella because not only is she an icon but she is ready to crack skulls when the time calls for it
I will say, Keke as Aisha was perfect casting from Nick in my opinion. That’s one of the few things I really like about the Nick version

I feel sorry for Aisha and Stella in this arc poor Aisha and Stella I would save their kingdoms if I was a fairy with wings I would love to be a fairy. Also I love Aisha's enchantix she looks pretty in the transformation. If I had enchantix I would give Aisha's sight back with my fairy dust.

I’ll never understand what happened to Charmix. Even if it is the case that it eventually runs out, Bloom only used hers twice so she should DEFINITELY have more. My in-canon guess is just that they used all of it up during their convergence against Lord Darkar.

The Kraken always gave me the shivers - especially it’s original theme! 🥶 Also that underwater fight scene was so epic and magical - especially Bloom’s magical tornado portal thingy. Basically, the girls really needed Sirenix only to enter the Infinite Ocean.

Didn't Charmix got all used up during the last battle with Darkar. That's why it was just an accessory transformation and a limited one at that.

Sooo... it's been a while since I even looked at Season 3, but do we have any idea WHY Countess Cassandra's basically staging a coup/marrying Radius? Like, yeah, Valtor's "Gift" is probably adding fuel to the dumpster fire, but for all I know, the Countess is probably getting close to Radius to claim something she thinks belongs to her anyway. Probably a failed coup, an ancestor that's an illegit child of a previous ruler, or Radius got rid of Chimera's dad. Or was blamed for it.
Unless Valtor and Cassandra had a fling before things went down on Domino anyway.

I get people like enemies to lovers, myself included, but there is a line, and the enemy being a power hungry, genocidal asshole that want to or has wiped out your or your friend's entire race and that is decades to centuries older than the 15 to 20 year old girl they're paired with isn't just crossing the line, it's an Olympic long jump over the line and creepy AF.

Congratulations, Thomas for making another Winx commentary video. I like how you praise this season like CRAZY. I remember as a kid watching Aisha getting blinded by Baltor terrified me! I was scared I didn’t know if she was going to get her sight back 👀. Tressa bravery, the Winx friendship, Aisha’s sacrifice was EVERYTHING. I don’t know why, but when I keep thinking about this episode I keep thinking Sirenix. In my head I’m thinking: “This is when they should use Sirenix” !!! “Bloom said that she’s not sure if her fire powers 🔥would work underwater 🌊” and two seasons later she was using Harmonix and Sirenix 🙄. What is the point of Harmonix when Aisha can use her underwater breathing spells...!? This will save the animators time and money while working on the Harmonix prototype design which they could have added to the Sirenix designs...tulles. Super low ponytails and all!!! 1 something really interesting about this episode was that I noticed some similarities to Harry Potter of all things. first Tecna going full Hermione and saying "we could get suspended or worse EXPELLED" . Secondly The positive memory spell reminded me strongly of the patronus charm..

I've always found it weird that Aisha/Layla's Enchantix falls from the sky while most of the other Winx Enchantix energy comes out of their bodies.
And I hate the fact that his Enchantix and such a short sequence, it was too complicated for Rainbow to make a real sequence of longer transformations ?
Yeah I also found that weird. And AISHA DESERVED A BETTER SEQUENCE. What if when she got her Enchantix, water started to rise towards her as she flew up in the sky and then water would be in her transformation. THAT WOULD BE EVERYTHING
Honestly I thought It was because Aisha earned It on her planet as thats where the power of Enchantix comes from. The others had It Come from within cause the planet used the connection between them to send It and for it to come from within than,also why It took longer. Aisha's power descended to jer cause she was on her planet so It was easier to do It that way.

Any idea when season 6 episode 19&20 rewrite is coming out?
With Flora getting almost murdered, there where a trend of plant/nature users getting destroyed and/or did not perform as well as some others around them in shows in the early 2000. I call this the "Plant/Nature Elemental Curse", wich I hate, since I like plants and nature (even tough plants die on my touch, I can still admire from afar).
Winx Club, Digimon and Pokemon comes to mind with this, where only Digimon has recovered from this curse, in the latest anime, Digimon Ghost Game, pretty much all plant based Digimon are frightening. Pokemon and Winx Club unfortunately seem to have this curse be on going.
Ben 10 never had this curse, Wild Vine was pretty strong and useful.

I love the way you say "Enchantix" !!
I feel bad for you guys cz you didn't get to discover the show in italian (or french like i did).. never once have they changed a voice actor in 7 seasons!! Not that any season matters after s4.. but still .. also the dialogues are 100% loyal to the main script and everything makes sence unlike in english dubs..
Also in the French and German dubs after S4 Stella and Aisha remains the fairies of the Sun and Moon and the Fluids.

Just as a question: when I heard «golden era», from 2004~2010, do you consider 4th season as well as a part of Golden Era? I do!! What happens is that I would like to know statements which clarify why it wouldn't be part of it
There was a 2-year gap between the release of season 3 and 4. They originally didn't plan on making anything post the 1st movie. So I guess season 4 brought a new era in a way. Also, the music and the vibe became completely different.
I wish they hadn't gone in the direction they did - going to Earth, getting Believix and becoming pop stars. I would have preferred an adventure on Domino because Domino was new at that point, and exploring how the girls are guardian fairies each on her planet. Also, ffs, no more Alfea.
