I'm glad you guys love it there and it's awesome to see your perspective on other parts of Mexico. Keep it up with your amazing content! Much love guys

We had a lovely trip to Michoacan a number of years ago. Patzcuaro stole our hearts. We had an absolutely amazing meal in Uruapan and a wonderful stroll through the National Park winding through the city. And, it's true, the Michoacan people were so welcoming.
Check out Paracho, the guitar-making village of Mexico, while you're there!
I do have to say that we were a bit disconcerted to hear about drug gang deaths in Uruapan a year or so after we had been there. It seemed such a shame after our wonderful trip.

@West Side That's interesting that you bring that up. I do listen to a number of people in financial related markets including crypto, but have never thought of mentioning it in this forum since the Kennons' videos are only about travel to the wonderful places in Mexico. I think there's a very good possibility of a crash. It's coming but there's nothing you or I can do about it. I put my faith in God. That's the main thing. It's all predicted in the Bible. Hold on to God to help us through and guide us. That's my only answer. Thanks for your comment. I love the Kennons.

In a way Morelia was the best city to live because la Huasteca Potosina is not a city. A besides that, Michoacán has the best food according to you guys a millions and millions of people. Michoacán the hidden gem from Mexico, I was in Morelia/Pátzcuaro last year for the day of the dead. Michoacán,,,my home state and so proud of it. Un Michoacano living in the USA. 😊😊

Morelia is beautiful, but please visit La Huasteca Potosina. I am biased but once you see it you'll understand. My favorite part of Mexico is its natural beauty and this area displays so much of it. It reminds you that nothing man can build will be more beautiful than nature.

Hello, I´m from Morelia, and grew up in the city center, if you come back again to Michoacán, tray to go to El Pararicutín, it´s a volcano, if you can find a tour that takes you to the volcano and the town (Pueblo Viejo de San Juan Parangaricutiro) would be the best, highly recomended.

Wow that’s awesome! My parents are from Michoacán! I’ve been to Morelia a handful of times and it really is a nice place! I grew up in Zamora which is less than 2 hours drive from Morelia and It’s a nice little town! They have a Sams Club! A Home Depot a Walmart and all the other stores you guys are familiar with so you’ll fit right in! Also they have one of the tallest Catholic Churches in all Latin America! It’s called Santuario Guadalupano, another place that I truly love and find magical and REALLY wish you guys could visit is a lake called Camecuaro... it’s beautiful and you guys would love it! Clear water like no other! And it’s only 10 minutes from Zamora less than two hours from Morelia so please google it and see if that’s something you guys would like to visit! The food of Michoacán is one of the best especially the Tacos!... anyway you guys are amazing and keep up the amazing work KKs🤟.

It’s not a good thing that they have a Walmart, a Sam’s Club, and all that shit, because that means that a lot of the small mom and pop’s shops will close down. What will those entrepreneurs do???? I guess they will work at Walmart for minimum wage! Those multinationals are the modern slave owners. They will destroy the small town lifestyle.

    • @l13SofP
      @l13SofP 5 лет назад +1

Silvia Ramirez I honestly have no idea how Zamora has all those American stores considering how small Zamora truly is! And the Soriana and comercial mexicana and all that’s stuff it has a ridiculous amount of big stores and a brand new mall with fancy stores I believe! I know what you mean and it’s true! I don’t like how crowded it is now! And I haven’t been there in a couple years... I’m sure it’s just getting worst and worst... I love Utah and this is my home now! Besides last time I visited Mexico I was sick for a week and a half and I was there for 2 weeks so F that lol... I’m just encouraging these guys to visit Zamora cause it’s worth it... at least for like a day or two :)

WOW... I cannot believe you hiked so close to Popo!! I lived in a small town near San Martin Texmelucan, Puebla with a wonderful view of the volcano... my Sunrise and sunset ritual was to go up on the roof deck to see what was going on... This was in 2019-2020 AMAZING views and photo ops. IMPRESSIVE!!

Loyal follower here. That uphill road from the bus stop brought back good memories. Our honeymoon in 1989 included Taxco. Great choice, but I wish we had bought more silver.

    **Michoacan, El Alma de Mexico**
    My family is truly blessed.
On my mother's side my Grandma was from Uruapan, Michoacan and I spend most of summer vacations and winter breaks in and around Uruapan, Patzcuaro, Zirahuen, Camecuaro, and Morelia. My grandpa was from Bocas, SLP and the largest portion of my lives is SLP, SLP which I will visit at least once every other year.
On my father's side, My grandpa is from San Jose Atlan and my grandma from Nopala both in the State of Hidalgo. Ironically the majority of my father's side of the family live in the Dallas, Houston, Miami, California and the Carolinas. There are a few that live in Queretaro and will go there at least once a year...... Queretaro and Hidalgo, usually around March 19th for the Fiesta de San Jose.
My wife's family is all from la Huasteca Potosina, El Naranjo SLP......Now, my daughter and wife spend all summer swimming in that beautiful blue river.
I have always Identify myself as a Michoacano (I even wear a sombrero calentano con Huaraches cruzados de llanta Goodyear, lol) but the truth is that SLP and Hidalgo do hold a special place in my heart.
I hope to retire in Zirahuen, soon!
FYI: ¡Arriba Las Aguilas de America! Los mas campiones!

If you haven't gone yet, you all would LOVE Las Grutas de Tolontongo. Go to Ixmiquilpán, HGO and there's a combi that will take you. Ixmiquilpán is also a cute town with some water parks (not much else to do unless there's a festival).

That is cool. Your favorite place is not a city, and your second favorite place is the city of Morelia, which means it's your favorite city. That's the city I've been eyeing for retirement ever since I watched some other RUclipsrs (Tangerine Travels) visit it a few months ago. They loved it. You love. Maybe I'll love it too. Thanks for this video.

Thank you for sharing this! It is a great info video also. Interesting..as I just said to my brother before this popped up..come to PV where I live next year for your vacation and his response was sorry Mexico is not a destination we would travel too. Too bad I said, so much beauty and fun and quite safe. Your videos really showcase so much of Mexico in its true nature. Glad you are doing so well...I remember when I found you and you had less than a 1000 subscribers. Keep going!! Gracias! xx
