- Welcome to the the most Magical Pueblo Mágico of all of the Pueblo Mágicos- Taxco, Guerrero! Located just a couple of hours from Mexico City, Taxco is built upon a beautiful mountainside. It truly looks like something out of a dream! When you are walking the streets of Taxco you feel like you have stepped back in time! White with red tiled roof buildings, the streets are cobblestone, and the taxis look like VW Bugs from the 1950's. There are surprises awaiting you around every corner and callejon!

Hola amigo! We are Greg and Hillary - a husband and wife team that loves traveling, going on adventures, and helping others do the same! Blown away yet again...! How can one country possibly have so much incredible beauty? It's like dreams becoming reality...like Mexico exists in some wonderful dimension not found anywhere else...so plentiful it seems surreal. Call me crazy, think of me what you will...but I can't help but comment on the beauty and magic of this magnificent country.

Another thing that most Mexicans don't know, Marilyn's mom (Gladis) is from Piedras Negras, Coahuila. Norma "Marilyn" never knew her father, so she's basically of Mexican heritage.

I love Taxco. Stock up on silver while y'all can. Check out the Grutas de Cacaguamilpa. Really cool caves with stelagmites and stelagtites. Lots of bats so make sure you aren't allergic to guano. Your face will puff up like a 🎈

Love Taxco, i always go when i visit my family in Iguala, Chilpancingo, Tecuexcontitlán, and Sasamulco. I was there in the 2016 X Games down hills bike races, it was crazy

This is one of the places I've been wanting to see more of. I've seen other videos of it some time ago, but they were more "flat" - kind of like how most towns with nearby mountains are built in a valley with the mountains off in the distance. But here, it's obvious that the mountains ARE the town. Your drone shots really bring that out as well as walking up those steep streets. Like Greg mentioned, I was already thinking it looks like old Italy or Greece. Like I wanted copper from Morelia, I want to go to Taxco and buy silver. Of course I don't have any money to do that or would have already done so ;-) I love seeing the lights on the hillsides. That's magical to me.
Hi Betty. Never os too late to visit taxco de Alarcón México. Its a magical town in the mountains as you see in the video but its diferent to be there. Its really an amazing place to be on vacation. I was born in a town near taxco and I want go back to my origins again. See you Betty.
Betty-this place truly is SO very different than anything we have ever seen. It feels so set back in history and is incredibly beautiful! I dont have money for silver either, but I did find cute little heart earrings for 35 pesos so that fit the budget :)

Traveling in the old Estrella de Oro was Mexico city then a pit stop eather Cuernavaca o Taxco then Chilpancingo and the end was heaven ACAPULCO 🍻🍻🍻🥂🥂🍺🍺🍺🍺

Take advantage now that you are in Taxco to visit the caves of Cacahuamilpa, they are very close and there is something very impressive, also visit the Ex-Hacienda of San Juan Bautista, it is one of the few buildings that have the medieval style, it is a castle which was once hidden among mountains and was built in 1543, it is worth visiting. Too visit the Blue Pozas of Atzala, it is one of the most beautiful natural places of Taxco, thanks to a nearby stream that forms pools and that together with the vegetation, makes its waters turn a crystalline blue. I love Taxco, an incredibly beautiful place. Two foreigners fell in love with Taxco and became part of its history. A French-Spanish man, José de la Borda (initially Joseph de Laborde 1700-1778), made his fortune in mining in the area and reinvested in the community with the construction of Santa Prisca church on Taxco's zocalo and Jardin Borda in Cuernavaca among other things. Jardin Borda is an enchanting place well worth visiting. And there was William Spratling (1940's), an American architect and author who helped organized a workshop for the artisans producing silver jewelry. The Spartling Museum is very interesting to visit. Taxco is the silver capital of the world. There is so much artistry and creativity in Taxco, it's unbelievable.
