- Sir Paul McCartney has paid tribute to his “lovely” wife on their wedding anniversary.
The Beatles legend - who was previously married to the late Linda McCartney and model Heather Mills - shared a photo of himself and Nancy Shevell seemingly on holiday on Monday and revealed they were celebrating 12 years of marriage on the same day as would have been his late bandmate John Lennon’s birthday.
McCartney captioned his post: “Happy anniversary to my lovely wife, Nancy. Let’s have a great one - Paul.
The Live and Let Die hitmaker also took a moment to pay tribute to Lennon, who was shot dead in 1980.
Alongside a photo of himself performing in front of a giant photo of Lennon, he wrote: “Celebrating the birthday of my wonderful friend and collaborator, @johnlennon.
The 81-year-old musician recently revealed he and Shevell have very different evening routines because he finds her TV viewing “too exciting”.
He told his official website: “I get ready for bed and the last thing I do is read. Nancy will often look at a series at that time, but I think it’s not conducive to sleep because some of the things she’ll watch are a little too exciting, and the plot will keep you up all night!
“So I try to read biographies, which can be a little bit dry. After a few pages you yawn, the page goes fuzzy, so it’s light off and straight to sleep. I like that!”
McCartney is also considering taking up knitting.
He said: “I don’t knit, I imagine that would be quite cool, actually. Tom Daley knits and so does Michelle Obama, and I get why they do it; it must be a great release of tension.”
Your music will live on..with Blessings 🌱

The Laive and Let Die hitmaker?
It's an AI voice
These AI voices are good but not perfect...yet.
For those so many of us regard as family, congrats to Paul, Nancy and dear John. Mother Nature's Son.
John Lennon birthday is October 9th.
😳😳😳😳 uhh "What"and Let Die??? UN-FN-REAL 😂😂
A I
"LIVE" & Let Die? (As in rhyming with "drive", not with "give") Are you kidding us? You name a song title by the most popular musician in the history of music, announcing his Oscar nominated, mega-hit Bond movie theme and you can't pronounce the title properly? That's so tacky and amateur.
AI voice. Just like in Blade Runner, it's a flaw that can be detected through testing 😂
@@krobar999 Exactly. Or by "listening."
12 years.... It doesn't seem possible....
Bravi tutti 💥💥💥💥💥💥
Didn't take long for Paul to forget the mother of his children, Linda.
Jesus Christ. She died 26 years ago. Do you expect him to be celibate for the rest of his life?
He's 80. He Is celibate.
That’s a ridiculous comment.
It's been over 20 years
I guess she's quids in then huh? hehe :)
At 36 seconds - "The Lyyyv and Let Die hit maker..." What? You sound perfectly English, are you an Artificial Intelligence speaking?? Everyone knows its pronounced "Liv and Let Die"...except for A.I. narrators, because clearly they LIVE in another reality.
Yep, it's AI. Another common mistake is that they can't tell the town of Reading in Berkshire is pronounced 'Redding' (or for that matter that Berkshire is pronounced Barkshire, but most people outside the UK have trouble with that too).
