@@igzuniga Yoko One was a home wrecker (while she was already married to someone else who she abandoned along with their daughter, as was John Lennon also married and who likewise abandoned his 1st son Julian). She sapped away any creative inspiration he'd had and destroyed any synergy John had with Paul McCartney a creative writing team. None of Lennon's post-Beatles work held up the way his Beatles-era compositions did. Yoko Ono was Lennon's Svengali, his self-anointed Wallis Simpson (a counterpoint to a weak, feckless, irresponsible Edward VIII). When Lennon was murdered, she didn't give 1 cent to Cynthia or Julian Lennon. The cold hearted, uninspired, drugged-up shell of a man that Lennon became after meeting Yoko Ono ended with him willing everything to Yoko Ono. Compare that to the class and the synergy that Paul and Linda had. He had a prolific writing period at least through his Wings years. I believe that Paul and Linda had the only Beatles marriage where they were completely faithful to one-another. (Even John had his "lost weekend", where he strayed from Yoko, eventually shacking up with May Pang. for some time during the earl'y '70s.). Paul later said that the only night that he and Linda ever spent apart during their entire marriage was the night that he spent in jail after the infamous drug bust in Japan.
That’s not how the story goes w/May Pang. Lennon & Ono were not getting along in their marriage so Ono wanted a separation to rest. Knowing Lennon would use prostitutes or be with someone who would hurt Lennon & that was reportedly said by Ono, she approached Pang & asked her to be his escort so Ono was the one who arranged that so Lennon did not just run off & shack up with/Pang but they did end up getting along & had a relationship. Meanwhile, Ono was reportedly having an affair w/Sam Green, an American Art Curator, of whom she expected to marry but he was not interested in marrying her. Linda knew Paul’s track record as after all, he met Linda while he was still with Jane so she clung to him preventing him from having liaisons. For 2 people that liked to sow their oats regularly, I have to hand it to them for remaining together & raising a Family although it’s not normal to not have trust where you always have to keep track of your partner
Actually he was 2 month shy of his 21th birthday ... So he was really 20 ... He's born on the 18th of June 1942 ... And they meet on April 18 1963 ... Not 1964
I could never understand why so many men with large fortunes are stupid enough not to make a marriage contract with their wives-to-be, seriously limiting their financial take in case of divorce. This should particularly apply to women whose funds are just a tiny fragment of their future husband's. I couldn't deal with the suspicion that someone is marrying me primarily for my money.
The love of Paul’s life was not Linda, Paul lived for Paul and his music, Linda was the perfect convenience, Linda was possessive, jealous and stuck to him like glue. Paul got the best of both worlds, his music and family. Linda provided him what every man needs at day/night, a family and mostly a perfect image for Paul. Dragging her kids around touring was fine as long as she never let Paul out of her sight. No other Women could ever get close to Paul. 1 year after Linda passes away, Paul is already fishing with Mills, but Oh Linda was the love of his life…..Pleaseeeeee……
Unless you have lost someone that was your soul mate and heart, you shouldn’t make derogatory remarks. When that part of you leaves you try to fill that spot. He didn’t give himself time to really grieve. He didn’t love Heather mills. Why do you think she was so angry?
I saw Wings perform, and Linda's hair was dirty and greasy. She looked unkempt. She is also alleged to have slept with a lot of high-profile rock stars, including Mick Jagger. I always found it fascinating how she managed to ensnare Paul!
She didn't "ensnare" him And it is so unkind of you to insult her. Everybody has days when they're not looking their best. And do you think that Paul hadn"t slept with a lot of women before Linda? Linda and Paul shared a wonderful, long relationship because they loved each other and were very compatible. She was down to earth and very good for him, providing stability and a real life.
The only thing in that whole spot about Paul and his devotion to Linda that was stated incorrectly is that his project the Fireman was formed on the heels of his divorce to heather , the fireman project stems back to 1993 with "Strawberries Ocean Ship Forest" and "Rushes" in 1998 . "Electric Arguments " was made after that divorce!
People hold John and Yoko up as the great rock and roll love story. I disagree with this, I say it is Paul and Linda. They raised all of their kids together and never had a "lost weekend".
This is beautiful, Paul. You should be so proud and grateful for having such a beautiful wife.... and very lucky. Many many love this story but don't get to experience this in life. You are very special.
There are aspects of this that I hope are just Facts Verse and have nothing to do with Paul. Paul and Linda did not overcome adversity. Both were filthy rich when they met. She was the heir to Eastman/Kodak. That line in this bio does not make sense. Also, I hope Paul does not go around saying Linda was the love of his life. That would be entirely insensitive to his current wife.
@@elizabethmcleod246 I believe she was in hospital. paul was holding her hand and saying "You are riding your fine Appalacian(??) horse. the sun is shining through the trees..." they rode their horses on their ranch where her ashes were scattered. He grieved heavily for 1.5 years and finally came out of depression and learned to carry on.
🤣🤣🤣🤣then married that model and had another child. Then Nancy got the old Paulie.
You made too many mistakes to correct. It is your opinion but not facts. That's for sure.
Ain't THAT the truth!!!
Just another RUclips/Internet load of crap.
That's very true
Paul was 21 in 1963
You totally forgot Paul's fourth child.
No mention of Paul's daughter with Heather?
Because Linda wasnt after Fame and Fortune and she put "Family" First 😍
Well, in 1964 when Jane was 17, Paul was 21, not 25.
Actually he was 2 month shy of his 21th birthday ... So he was really 20 ... He's born on the 18th of June 1942 ... And they meet on April 18 1963 ... Not 1964
If Paul was born in 1942 and Jane in 1946, how could she have been 17 when he was 25? Math ain't mathin'
Poorly researched-that was the age difference between Lennon & Ono with Ono being the older one
He adopted her daughter
Jane Asher was 17 and McCartney 25? She was born in 46 and Sir Paul in 42. You do the math!
Paul a gemini, Linda a libra. Good match 🙂
Heather is their oldest daughter.
Pienso que fue su tabla salvavidas a la que se pudo aferrar. Su amor verdadero creo que fue Jane.
Linda was pregnant with Mary when they decided to marry.
I saw Wings perform, and Linda's hair was dirty and greasy. She looked unkempt. She is also alleged to have slept with a lot of high-profile rock stars, including Mick Jagger. I always found it fascinating how she managed to ensnare Paul!
She didn't "ensnare" him
And it is so unkind of you to insult her.
"Electric Arguments " was made after that divorce!
twin flames , not just soul mates
Heather was a gold digger. Linda was really normal
and down to earth. She was genuine
And Nancy his current wife is a class act
People hold John and Yoko up as the great rock and roll love story. I disagree with this, I say it is Paul and Linda. They raised all of their kids together and never had a "lost weekend".
This is beautiful, Paul. You should be so proud and grateful for having such a beautiful wife.... and very lucky. Many many love this story but don't get to experience this in life.
You are very special.
Well duh. He confessed it in the song Maybe I'm Amazed in 1970.
How could you not mention the child he had with Heather? Huge omission.
Who writes the scripts for these videos.
Everyone hated Heather, especially after a true heart like Linda.
WRONG! Peggy Lipton came AFTER Jane Asher.
Her name is Jane Asher, not Jean
Check out Paul and Linda's ranch that they owned in Tucson, AZ where Linda and Paul and family lived.
That's where Linda's ashes were scattered so he still owns it.
Linda was a New Yorker.
@@DawnSuttonfabfourDidn’t Linda pass away there?
@@elizabethmcleod246 I believe she was in hospital. paul was holding her hand and saying "You are riding your fine Appalacian(??) horse. the sun is shining through the trees..." they rode their horses on their ranch where her ashes were scattered. This was as she was literally dying. I'm paraphrasing but that's the gist. They say hearing is the last to go. Poor Paul.
@@DawnSuttonfabfour Thank you. I remember her horse was at the funeral.
And in other news, water is wet and the sun is hot!
Oh brother...Billy
James Paul McCartney died in car crash on September 11 1966 and was replaced by William (Billy). This is the truth no matter what!
Good move Paul.
Paul should never married heather mills, she was too young for him and arrogant
I mean, this is sweet and all, but I wonder how that made his wife Nancy feel.
MICK JAGGER not mentioned ? Why the picture ?
At 86, Billy Confesses He Was the Love of His life.
He sure is!
Linda sounds like Meghan
