I can say without shame that this character, this idea, saved my life. I've struggled with anxiety, depression, weight issues, issues with people, normal problems. And to see such a powerful character, such a selfless person, go on life with those issues on top of his problems as a superhero, and somehow hold on, is just what I need every day in my life. Thank you Peter, Thank you Spidey, Thank you Stan. You literally saved my life, and I will never be able to thank you enough for it.
No matter what Spiderman portrayal you relate most to or favor, most can agree that Spiderman is one of the greatest heroes of all time and when we see a new Spiderman movie, we can't help but get so pumped to see him on the big screen kicking ass again.
This is why Spider-Man has been my role model and hero my whole life since I was a kid. I'm 22 now and can't express how much this hero means to me, and how much he got me through tough times. Being bullied a lot in school, being alone, left out of things, losing family members I was very attached to, being rejected, going through bad depression in my teenage years. The sam rami Spider-Man was what my brother and I grew up with back in the early 2000s, and will always be our favourite Spider-Man and superhero. I like Andrews Spider-Man as well. Cried really hard when Gwen died, and Andrew did that whole emotional scene so well. I started karate back in 2009 (9 years old), and still do it to this day. I will show Spider-Man to my kids in the future. My nephew loves Spider-Man.
I like to come back to this video a lot whenever I mess something up. I’m a huge Spider-Man fan, and I always ended up wishing that I could handle even a fraction of the responsibility that Peter Parker has to deal with… maybe then… but then that speech from Aunt May hits “I believe there’s a hero in all of us” and I remember that the reason why love the Spider-Man character so much is because he’s not perfect. He messes up just like me, but he’s able to get back up and move forward… carrying the weight because he’s a hero. So that inspires me to get back up and try again to carry the weight I have on my shoulders. Sometimes I feel worthless and stupid when I mess up… but this video often reminds me… I’m only human. I need to get back up, and embrace the hero in me… because theirs a hero in all of us as long as we refuse to give up.

The reason this inspiration works only for Tobey's films and not Tom's speaks volumes about the quality of today's films. Abandoning heartfelt moments, onscreen chemistry, and emotionally evoking scenes for mindless CGI-laden action scenes and bad jokes. Bring back Tobey and Raimi❤
COVID, fires, war, money troubles, etc... Don't let the problems of today decide the person you'll be tomorrow. Remember this video, the best thing you can do right now for everyone else is be a hero.
