"you were everything I wanted to be" it's not hard to see that Peter has daddy issues. All the men he has looked up to have left him in some form or other. His dad. His uncle. Dr Octavias. Dr. Connors. In contrast the women in Peter's life are the real ones that lift him up and make him a stronger man. Aunt May (yes dies in the game but not in comics. In fact he sacrifices everything to save her). Mary Jane. Black Cat. Etc.

This is my favorite version of Spiderman. Period. He gives up so much of himself for other people. His pain and suffering allows others happiness and safety.
His constant sacrafice of body and mind are what helps others be safe. He is the ideal person I want to be. Someone who no matter what happens, will be willing to put others before themself.

This is living proof that spiderman is one of the strongest and most inspirational comic book heroes. The sheer strength of his will even when things are down is incredible. Out of all the characters Stan Lee created this is one of the most iconic ones. A man who suffers and bleeds like the rest of us but still does what he needs to be because he's our spider man 🕷️

OG Peter face will always have a special place in my heart
Peter really got put through the ringer in the game. 2 of his friends and mentors Li and Octavius became evil, his aunt and loads of other people died when Ock released Devil's Breath, the City Hall terrorist attack by the Demons killed Jefferson Davis Miles's dad, countless other people and nearly killed Peter himself, he found out his best friend Harry was dying of the same disease that had killed Harry's mother Emily and that the experiment that turned Martin Li into Mr Negative and the creation of Devil's Breath was all part of Norman Osborn's attempts to find a cure. He also got the shit beaten out of him by the Sinister Six and was lucky to survive.

And the surprisingly, well hes spiderman so not suprising at all. Is the fact through all of that shit he can still smile, and bring a positive energy to the world. Spiderman is my favorite hero in terms of what he does and why he does it. That he will never give up, that he will always get back up. He has hope for all the people who are lost cause he understands him. Hes my favorite because he's more spider"man." He inspires me to be a better person, to "be greater."

Spider-Man is a hero born from pain. The death of Uncle Ben inspired Peter to be a hero, protecting others from the same tragedy that befell him.
He still has hope that Martin Li, the man who did so much good, can overcome Mr. Negative. He still pleads with Dr. Octopus, once his idol and his friend, only to realize that the Otto Octavius he knew has been consumed by his own hatred.
He's lived such a sad life. Don't forget his best friend got sick
Spider man and Batman, hero’s both formed from a tragedy but one didn’t have people around him to bring him back into the light, while the other did, one forged their path in fear, the other in through the light of others, one a symbol of fear, the other a symbol of greatness both fight their own wars.
I love how in the game it shows how you barely get sleep and only get the option to a few times because it shows how much he cares for the city and how much he sacrificed
No matter how many losses and betrayals Peter Always find the way to get back up again that makes him truly inspiring
This version of Peter this what inspires me to be a better person to care for others even if it leaves me in pain
We all need a bit of pain to grow and become the person we were meant to be :))
Spider-Man shaped me, as a kid I always looked up to him and to some extent based my morals off of him. Those morals eventually molded me into who I am now.

Seeing Peter at the end of the game was so depressing you can tell he’s been through a lot he experienced betrayal, and sadness, and I did think after seeing Aunt May die I thought he would quit being Spider-Man to let go of that pain but he didn’t he kept going because it’s what Ben and May would have wanted that’s why he’s always been my favourite

Spider-Men and Batman the two goats of superhero’s conveniently both with some of the best games ever
This just shows how music can have such a big impact in story telling.

This game was absolutely amazing. I really loved the sad parts, and it was touching even though it's just a video game. I can't wait for Marvels Spider-Man 2, and overall, this video was a great one that shows the primary and best parts of the game, all summed up to 3 minutes. I really appreciate this video because it's the only edit that shows the best parts of the game. I love this video.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 1 is a masterpiece in story telling. I simply can’t justify how good it was executed.
Although it was still a good game, the sequel lacked it tremendously.
Marvel's spiderman 2018 so far is my favorite spiderman game

This game still makes me cry I never expected this game to make me cry when rdr2 couldn't do it and that game changed my life
i think us as kids we loved spider man from his superpowers
but now we love peter parker from what he's been through
This game is the best Spider-Man story of all time understanding Peter will give up anything to save his city and the people within it. Spider-Man is an inspirational hero which is what this game understands so well. The masterful narrative weaves familiar characters putting them into brand new situations. The gut punch at the end when Aunt May dies. Uncle Ben died due to Spider-Man not doing the right thing when Aunt May dies it is due to Peter sacrificing the last piece of his childhood to save the city and move on. She dies due to Peter doing the right thing. God this game is a masterpiece.
Just 100% the entire game on PC two days ago. I feel like this game has drained me emotionally, yet I loved every second of it.

After Playing spiderman 2.. I can definitely say insomniac's spiderman suffered the most out of any spiderman ever..Lost his parents,Lost his aunt, he lost his uncle, he lost himself, he lost martin li, he lost his mentor who he looked up to, betrayed by most people around him, fought the sinister six and was heavily injured. His city was nearly destroyed two times, he lost his best friend, he came back and he lost him again. Had to fight both the man he idolized and the man he viewed as a brother. His marriage wasn't going well. He couldn't pay the mortgage or keep the house. Had to watch harry leave him twice and stop him himself. Had to fight his love. fought miles and was lost to the symbiote. He suffered so much. More than any spidermen

So much emotions
I have finished this game three times
But every single time it feels like playing it first time
With this game you realise how bad it is to be Spider-Man, or a hero that does not kill in general.
He decided not to kill, because he genuinely wants to help them, hence how the MCU Movies are doing him with Tom Holland now.
Having his uncle die turned him into a hero, but Having May die shows you that being him isn't that lucky, since he's basically cursed to stop others once they get out of jail and cause destruction.
Even talking about Peter himself is sad. He can't reveal his identity so others he love ain't in danger yet he would lose trust and friendship in order to keep it hidden, he barely has time at all for his family (seen as when Ben Reilly was "proven" to be the original Peter, while Peter is actually the clone, together with the fact his powers were gone, he decided to give Ben the title so that he could finally be with MJ and have a family with her until he got his powers back and found out Ben was the clone watching him die after saving others.), he wouldn't even let anyone kill in front of him, like that time he took a bullet for Norman himself.
All in all, For all these reasons that I believe Spider-Man is my favorite Super-Hero.
