@batman is the best hero there’s no “showing himself”, he’s changed, he’s not the same person as he was ever since his parents were killed. What anyone close to him sees is barely anything different from how acts towards the rest of the world.

Excluding Nolan's trilogy. The Arkham series made people really understand what Batman is all about. He is the character that defines heroism
A hero can be anyone, can do anything, even as something as simple as putting a coat around a young boy's shoulders to let him know the world hadn't ended.
And just like Nolan's trilogy this series choked with its final installment

@@Leo.de99 English isn't my first language but I discovered Kevin's work with the arkham series which played a huge part of my childhood and then checked his work in btas it was awesome .. And now he's gone so I went to revisit the arkham games with a bittersweet taste and then comes suicide squad which felt like a punch in the gut

These games are arguably the best on screen representation of Batman.
It's dark, doesn't shy away from the fantastical elements, has the whole Bat-family, goes into why he's Batman, his deep relationship with Joker, and it makes you truly feel like he's Batman.
and to add even more onto it, it's voiced by Kevin Conroy who is THE Batman so it makes it feel even more authentic, it's just got it all honestly :)

True. Batman always believed to be what could turn Gotham better, and when things got worse, he realized he was just like his home: a world of fear and pain.
It's actually pretty sad to know it's impossible for him AND the city to be free of that, so his sacrifice ends up being the price to pay for it, because it's not really the bad in the city that anthagonizes him, it's what it represents.
Getting rid of the burden of living as a privileged individual around a crime empire that sustains itself by stepping on the weak is like finally getting the rest he deserves.

I think they are taking a break from the "batman games" and are trying to make a spin off due to the reactions that arkham knight had compared to its predecessors.
I think after this suicide squad game, another batman game will sell very well

A terrible tragedy happened to him but instead of letting the situation control him, he got up, stopped whining and took control of the situation and set meaningful goals for himself. Batman can own anything and everything and yet he chooses to spend his money on charity and on his mission as Batman to rid the world of crime sacrificing his body, health, joy and peace in the process. He is our collective rage at injustice and oppression. He is a man searching the dark alleys of his mind to bring balance to an unjust world. He is a social activist. When we step back to gaze long upon the great Batman tapestry, when we look for the common thread woven through it by Kane, Finger, Fox, O’Neil, Englehart, and that endless line of creators, those who have come and gone as well as those who are still weaving, what do we see? We see a hero. We see someone we’d want on our side, a figure we’d love to call forth from our shadows and hurl at those who would do us wrong. We see that part of ourselves that wants to scare all of life’s bullies away,
and we like it. He is driven. He is like a revolutionary who stands up to tyrants or the activists who fight against great odds to make this world a better place. Out of tragedy, great good can arise.

even if scarecrow killed batman at the end of arkham knight , still it would have been a better ending to the character then this shitshow Right now
Atleast scarecrow had a plan and was a legit threat, Arkham bats stopped members of the squad on his own with ease, hell even in the game where he stalks the squad he does smh
batman is moved by three things, guilt, anger and hope- guilt over his parents death, anger at the corruption of the city, the criminals that took over, and killing innocent, and hope that his actions will lead to better gotham.

Origins imo has the best story. Batman's arc throughout that game was stellar. I loved when Alfred told him, "It's high time you realize that you are a man not an island, and a man's strength comes not just from his brawn or intelligence, but also from his allies." Alfred's such a goat

It is very complicated to think that all this was in vain, since in 30 minutes of cinematics we lost everything that this BATMAN represented.
Imagine rocksteady killed that batman with a bullet in his head by harley queen while is setting helpless on a bench in a park..

I came here today because of the death of the Batman aka Kevin conroy. Kevin was my childhood from the shows to the games to the movies. When I figured out he died I was just finishing Batman Arkham Knight again. Now it hurts me a lot that one of the best Batman has died.

It’s tragic how Batman no matter how hard he tries he is always surrounded by the people he loves being hurt but yet he is fearless he is the knight he is….Batman.
Having played the entire Arkham saga, I can say that this is gold. And this video has made me feel sad, happy, inspired and sorry for the life of a knight, the knight of the night. Awesome.

the arkham batman in my eyes is the perfect onscreen adaptation of Batman
every live action batman has gotten it wrong yes they have all captured specific elements of batman but the arkham Batman
captured everything about the Dark Knight perfectly how unstoppable he is but at the same time just how flawed and prone to being a control freak he is. bale was a good Bruce Wayne but a terrible batman keaton was a great batman but didn't really capture the idea of bruce wayne completely Kevin Conroy truly embodies and captures every aspect of batman in the arkham games and in the animated series.

I still can't see how people actually "HATE" a character like this. The man stands up against EVERYONE even when he knows he doesn't have a chance. Yes Bruce has done some pretty questionable things over the years yet I see that as another reason to love the character: he does what no one else is willing to. I mean FFS even Darksied respects the Bat. In my eyes that last part is a testament in itself to this character. Great video. Captures the beauty and tragedy of a true hero that Gotham will always need.
