    Glad you’re feeling better. Amazing job! I just need to finish the manor and my kobra max will be printing out in full pieces for this one. I bought firwood after seeing your first video on it and I agree. Best buildings around.

    Beautiful stuff mate, the inn is stunning. I stopped painting my city of firwood at the inn but seeing this makes me want to print 'just one more' haha. Great stuff once again

    Two issues. Can you put Rafael's kickstarter link to buy the furniture? They are fantastic and I would like to have them. And on the other hand, the only figure that appears in the video, at what scale is it printed? to get an idea of the size of the set. Thanks

  • @pixelcroissant

    I'm very inspired by this print/paint job - but I need to know, how much time and filament would you estimate it took in total? That looks like a month of constant printing, and 4-5 spools : | - Thanks in advance, love your videos!!

    • @gaminggeek241
      @gaminggeek241  Год назад

      That's going to be hard to say because I have multiple printers running at the same time. But I would say it is more like 3 spools but I also print at .2mm height and only 5% infill so I'm maximizing on pla amount. Also, a month is plenty, although if you can switch prints efficiently, I would say you could get it done in two weeks at the fastest with one printer.

    Hey, just wondering but where did you get those trees you have displayed with the Inn?

    • @gaminggeek241
      @gaminggeek241  7 месяцев назад

      Those trees come with the City of Firwood buildings--at least for original Kickstarter backers.

    Whats the model behind the counter on the first level from. It looks really familiar but I can't place it.
    I love that these have playable interiors, my biggest hang up with buildings and terrain of this scale is if they're just bricks. For taking up so much table and storage space, I want them to be more than some simple set dressing.
    There's some pockmarks and pitting on the roof tiles, are those part of the sculpt or just a happy accident?

    • @gaminggeek241
      @gaminggeek241  2 года назад +1

      That's an old metal Reaper miniature, the Crusader Cleric. The pockmarks are part of the design.

    • @LambosNerdery
      @LambosNerdery 2 года назад

      @@gaminggeek241 I did! It was my first convention, which was really neat unto itself, but on top of that I got to bring some 3D terrain for the Frosthaven tables and help run Frosthaven demo games for Cephalofair. It was a ton of fun, but I had hoped to run into you had you been able to make it.

    Holy cow! That thing is massive! It looks incredible! How long did it take you to paint it?

    • @gaminggeek241
      @gaminggeek241  2 года назад +1

      I started Saturday and finished by Wednesday, which is twice as long as normal since I painted the interiors as well on this one. Not sure how many total hours but it's still faster than painting miniatures!

    Hi, long time no see. Finally had the time to get back into board gaming and was wondering whether you had a video on the making of plaster (or some other relevant material) terrain tiles, upon which the game is played. Or whether you would recommend or recommend against the making of such a feat.

    • @gaminggeek241
      @gaminggeek241  2 года назад

      Hey Littlebean, glad to have you back? I'm not sure if I understand your question--you are thinking of making plaster terrain tiles? You mean for the streets of a city? I made streets using Fat Dragon's street tiles that I made with my Zombicide board if you want to take a look. I'm not doing any plaster casting anymore.

    What printer do you recommend for this?

    • @gaminggeek241
      @gaminggeek241  Год назад

      For best bang for your buck, go with the Bambu P1P or the AnkerMake M5. If you can't afford that, you can always get an Ender 3 for less than $200 but you are going to have to fiddle with it a lot to get it to work well.
