I saw this on the Mordheim subreddit, and I'm so impressed! You will have to show us a game once it's finished. I would love to see some miniatures bring the board to life!
Thats a good idea! Maybe i will!
Dude this looks very promising. Can't wait to see the final result.
Thanks!!!
1:42 That sounds so Amazing! OMG what a great Ruined CITY!
Thank you so much!
This build is inspiring! Just watching your process has helped me improving my own build thank you!
Thank you so much!
I’m about thirty seconds into the video and this layout looks awesome. You’ve done the water channels really well.
Thank you so much!
Beautiful mate! Can't wait for more.
Thank you!
Your work is very inspiring. I've been wanting to build a Frostgrave table for so long, but your videos have motivated me to actually do it. Thank you!
Thanks so much and good luck!!!
This is unreal. Good job dude!
Thanks man!
Very nice. I’m working on a big table at this time. Really enjoying doing it. Can’t wait to see the painting of your board.
Thanks and good luck with the build
@@Lybbansminiatures Thank you
Wow, this is insane. I can't wait for more updates on this one. One of the most exciting boards I have seen - so much narrative gaming potential.
Thank you so much!!!
Thank you for sharing the process! The Gravel looks great.
Thank you!
Looks great! Cant wait to see painting video
Thanks. It will be up next week!
Saw this on Instagram. Nice to see the building process! Looks incredible!
Thanks!
Nice good to see someone who likes to build multiple layers 👍🏻👍🏻
Its the only way!!! 😃
just catching up on your build...so awesome!
Thanks!!!
One way you might improve your laying of flat material is first cut to fit. Next is to add weight to one side so as to keep material in place. Then you peel back half of the material and spread adhesive with a trowel on the exposed base for a nice, even layer of adhesive. Allow a few minutes for the adhesive to tack up but not so long where the adhesive dries. Now is when you roll the peeled back material down in a smooth and even motion. Wait for a few more minutes, transfer weight over to the secured side of the material, peel back the other half and repeat the procedure on the newly exposed half. This should help with laying sheets of material without air bubbles. Another item that might help would be a broomstick. Apply gentle downward pressure on the stick with one hand, hold the end of the material off the surface and sweep the stick along, chasing the hand holding the material away from the glue. If you do end up with air bubbles, use a tiny sewing needle and pop it. If the needle hole ends up being very noticeable, you might be able to disguise it along a seam or grout line, covering it with a cart, a haystack or a pale. You could always have a plant growing out of it (common weed, flower, whatever) or incorporate the hole into your design by the addition of spider webbing or raised dirt around it like a gopher hole.
Would love to see a video on your printing etc! how you go from finding the files, how many printers youve got etc!
of course love the painting! and would be good to see how you go about planning out the boards!
Cool idea. I have heard this request from a few people so i might just do that. 😀
Would be awesome 😊
Man this video has been incredible from the start. Hats off to you sir!!!! But I can't help but crap my pants at the prospect of the water part coming haha hope it all comes together
Haha thanks. It went well as you can see in part 2(spoiler)
This looks great, can't wait to see the final result :D
Thanks!
I cant wait to see this finished. Great job.
Thanks!!!
even AOS on this board would be amazing too
very nice work
Thank you!
Very pleasant to watched, it's in my recommended but I enjoyed it
Thank you so much!
Can't wait to watch the next part in the series
Its up now! :)
Oh I saw this on the facebook group. Its amazing.
Thanks!
Its epic! Cant wait to see the next part.
Thanks. It will be up this week
This looks so cool dude. I guess with all the pre-measuring, set game boards don’t effect the ranges.
Nice work. Can’t wait to start a nice board.
Cheers and beers.
Thanks and good luck with your board
Epique is the word !
Thanks
this looks awesome. Also shows I need a bigger laboratory xD
Yeah, you always need a bigger lab... me too!
I dream to se a game on it. It's so amazing
Thank you
Det här är helt otroligt! fantastiskt jobb!
Tackar! 😀
Amazing! Thanks for the inspiration!
Thanks
Wow. Thank you.
You are welcome! 😁
So inspiring! Thank you!
Thanks man!
Absolutely love this ❤
Thanks!
UNDERRATED. UNDERRATED.
Thanks!
Into it 100%! Awesome job...and jealousy rising!!! lol Subscribed.
Thanks
Maaaaaassive table! Great work!! :-D
Thank you!
Subscribed! Fantastic channel, I´m really looking forward to new creations :)
Thank you. I am glad you like it!!!
WOW Amazing work my friend, how can 4 people give you thumbs down ??? are they stupid or what.
Thanks. Haha yeah what did i do wrong? 😂
Someone just linked us this video! We know those bridges anywhere! Looks excellent!
Thanks. Yeah they are awesome bridges!
This is awesome!!
Thank you
looks good
Thanks
Outstanding work. I also watch the channels you mentioned in your video. I think what makes you unique, is the combination of all those techniques as well as the insane amount of 3D printed parts. Keep on with the great work. Looking forward to the next video.
BTW: Where did you get the sewer grate?
Thank you so much! Its from thingiverse. Just typed sewer
just wow, rly wow
Thanks
I'm imagining someone hanging that stone texture wallpaper, then carefully drybrushing the entire wall.
Hahahaha
merci pour cette vidéo.
Back watching this video for the ...ok ive lost count 😅
Seriously, great video. Out of interest is there a list anywhere of the different 3d prints youve used in this build and also what print settings you used as all your 3d printed elements are flawless
No i havent made a list but all files can be found on the companies websites. I print at 0.2mm layer height, 5% infill and 2 wall counts. Everything else is just luck 😀
And thanks!!! 😀
So coooool!
Thanks!
Fantastic job! Please could you share a link to where you got the wallpaper flooring? Thats a really great find!
Thanks! Here is the link. ukwallpaper.co.uk/products/seriano-pietra-wallpaper-silver-1102.htm
Amazing job, this looks fantastic! Which 3D printer did you use for your buildings?
Thanks! I use anycubic I3 mega
Great ideas here, do you have any more information on the wallpaper? I like the idea as I'm trying to cut cost for a board but I'm also trying to avoid having to sculpt a cobblestone floor on a 6x4 table!
Thanks

I understand this board was made quite some time ago, but do you happen to remember the brand of the stone textured paper you used, or a link to the store you bought it from? The board looks excellent, you have a new subscriber from me for sure.
Thanks!

I watched this video more times than I want to admit now. I keep going back to see how you did things :b It's really a great tutorial for how to plan your build and a great show of techniques!
I have a quick question though, regarding the PVA mixture you apply nearly everywhere (at 13.14). You say you use some kind of "paint texture" with the thinned down PVA ? Would you care to elaborate a bit on this subject regarding the "paint texture"? I really want to copy your "gravel" effect on the roads :D
Hello there. Thanks for watching. Glad to help inspire! The paint texture is a coarse grainy sand like powder that ypu apply to wall paint to make it texurized. Its sold in tubs at my local diy shop. I guess sand would be just fine for this too. Just mix glue, water and sand/texture to a nice paste and go nuts.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience building this.
What advice could you give to anyone inspired to do the same? What should you think of, where did you get all the materials (im from sweden aswell), what would you have done differently knowing what you know today?
Awesome work man, superpsyched to do the same.
Thanks!!! My advice is to take your time and plan your build thoroughly before starting the actual building process. Check out other videos, instagram, pinterest and google for loads of reference pics. Check out kens creative madness on facebook and kolti on instagram. They are terrain gods. You dont need a 3D-printer do do this, carving stuff from blue foam is very easy and a lot cheaper. Takes more time though. Thw thing i would have done differently is probably to tint the resin more and add more gunk to the water. It came out a little flat. Otherwise i am very happy with the build and it turned out almost exactly like i planned. Next board will probably be totally scratch built with no 3D-printers involved just for the challenge.
The 3d printer is printing almost nonstop, planning to get some styrofoam this week.
Then all you need is some italian wallpaper 😀
it took 3 years, but today i actually started building my own board :D
I picked up some oil paints to make washes for my terrain. What is the usual ratio for oil to mineral spirits that you use?
Hard to say, I mix until I get a consistancy I like but its probably around 7 parts spirit and 1 part pant to start with. There are some great videos on oil washing here on youtube, its sometimes called pin wash too. Check it out.
Amazing when will part 2 be uploaded
Thanks. Its up now!
@@Lybbansminiatures I already watched it Id been checking every day for it keep up the great content
would love to know where you got the wall paper from need some of that for my Dwarf build

Love these videos and inspiring me to design some scenes.
Quick question, what thickness MDF board do you use?
Thanks! Its 10mm thick.
Awesome, really impressed by your planing and work! How can find that wallpaper you used for the stone floor?
Its an italian wallpaper i orederd from the uk
Great stuff. Thanks for sharing.
What did you use for the cobblestone texture?
Thanks. Here is a link.

I bought them at a this place in sweden

Hey mate, great build! Do you know where you got those walls? I searched through the provided links to no avail.
They are from infinite dimensions. Should be on their website.
@@Lybbansminiatures Oh I must've missed them - I see the now. Thank you kindly!
hello I need help where did you find the STL for the port quays as well as the wooden footbridges in the river
All the links to the stls are in the description. Enjoy
I found the stone quays but not the small wooden ones, just tell me the site

which company made the all the walls and stairs please.
Walls are by inifinite dimensions. Stairs by rm printable terrain. If i would do this again i would however use the arcanist walls and brudge by printable scenery. Its kinda all this stuff in one bundle.
It's really nice, but won't it get boring playing on the same board every game?
Thanks. All the buildings are separate so its kinda modular. But i have other mordheim tables that are totally modular so its not a problem for me. Im kinda insane.. 🙄
@@Lybbansminiatures oh lol, cool👍😁

And do you remember where the stairs / bridgets are from?
A big thx in advance
Loving this project, just wondering how big the table is?
Thanks. Its 180x120 cm but can be made into a 120x120 cm table too without the river
Does anybody know how to get that wallpaper in the US??
From everything I have seen it's only available in the UK and Europe. And the last I looked there was only one source that would actually ship it to the states. By the time you figured up the cost between the product and the shipping it just wasn't worth it to me.
Do you know where I can find the wallpaper?
Its called Seriano Pietra Wallpaper-Silver 1102

Who is the Instagram board builder you mentioned ? I can’t seem to find him.

@@Lybbansminiatures thank you sir!
Thats how i planned my city board aswell. but until now never did ;P
Cant wait to see ur upcoming videos, Great work so far!
How is the reachability into the middle river board when you move you minis?
and how will be the reachabilty when you add the 4th greass board outside the walls?
would be great if you would show us and maybe give us some tips.
i planed it a bit like Zarporias osgoliath board: ruclips.net/video/GgstUXQSzJM/видео.html&t for reachability
but yours would be in the end even more visual appealing with the water effects.
Would be great if you would give us feedback on this matter
Cheers :)
Thanks! There will be a loooot of walkways and plans and stuff in the middle section. I will show that i the next video, dont worry. The grassboards on the outide will be for warhammer fantasy so they will mostly be connectable for visual purposes. I fancy the idea to have two game systems on the same board just for the hell of it! 😁
@@Lybbansminiatures but what i mean is how do you reach the middle of the table with your actual hands and arms? sorry i am not a native english speaker. :)
thanks for your reply :)
dont worry about it i saw it already in the video. 120cm, 4ft wide... :D
Thousandth like
Why thank you!!!
