As an engineer, I'd like to understand the why's of the fuse issue. Was it an overdraw of current? Too small of wire? Movement of the wire connections causing heat? Soooo many questions. I love the wrap up and the explanation of issues that arise.
The problem is it could be any of those things. It depends on the system that is being used. Some performance cars boost the voltage to the pump to increase the output. Some replace the fuel pump with one that has a higher output. Unfortunately, most people that use these systems use the existing wiring. A larger fuse is put in place because as you are well aware, more output means a greater current draw. When it comes to Modern Red Hemi, he is using dual pumps. That requires a larger fuse and bigger wire. By rewiring the system and replacing the fuse doesn't fix the underlying problem. There should be an ammeter in the circuit to determine when the excessive current draw occurs. Does it occur when the car hits a large bump in the road or does it occur at full throttle? Maybe there is a mechanical issue with the pump or the issue could be one of the potential problems you previously suggested. The fueling system is part of a kit so I don't think wire size is the problem unless it was poorly designed. You're definitely asking the right questions.
It could've been any of those. Not really sure. Another possibility is the overflow for the ice tank is right there and may have splashed some water on it. I've since pointed it in another direction and have a bottle on it now so it doesn't happen again. Don't think it was an overdraw but one of the others. 💪
Just found out a few weeks ago that the kong 108mm throttle body is made by nick Williams 😂still getting all of my parts together for my 19 challenger hellcat redeye build....great video as always 🔥
Hey don hope you’re good still getting over this nasty flu apparently it’s going around pretty bad stay safe stay healthy and stay fast because I won’t lie it kicked my ass
@ModernRedHemi I have many times X pipe & H pip was better then with out them. When they test dumps was different episode and they didn't test x pipe on that episode. Another episode 18 inch collector is best but they didn't test it with a muffler apart of that 18inchs. If I'm confused about episode's what episode is it? I'm not to argue I just want to know what I did wrong because I lost power when I removed the x pipe just like engine masters did
Dawn, you are the car's calls that I have built a procharger. And I live here where you live at and I'm not finished yet, but I'm coming after I'm getting a motor return and the transmission redone again dawn, I will meet you at Capitol raceway. This is doc's hemidoc1 😊
Done, you are the reason why I built the procharger.I am coming after you big boy.I am coming after you.I live here down here by you and I will be at capital raceway.Looking for you holla docks hemmy
Check out the Engine Masters episode where they test dumps to full exhaust. You definitely gain hp. As for the fumes, the dumps are pointed to the ground and come out just past the driver's door so the fumes don't come in. At least I don't smell them. 😉
Nice buttoning up everything - it's so important for maximum performance. 100% agree about higher HP levels = more issues you'll deal with.
Yes sir! Always something! 💪

Have fun at the race bro!
Yes sir! Had a blast, video forthcoming.💪
love the dump set up ! Ima have to check that video out
They are awesome and sound amazing but come with being load and shaking things on the inside. 😂😂😂

Yes sir! They are built by Nick. Awesome, would like to see the build some day! Thanks brother! 💪

Thanks brother and all is good and I've been able to stave off the flu this year. Thanks for the heads up and hope you feel better soon! 💪
@@ModernRedHemi thanks man💪🏻💪🏻
Build break race repeat #Stracecarlife good to have Starkes and Mack on the pit crew
Yes sir! 100% facts! 💪
Cant believe starck meased that fuse up like that. Smh.
😂😂😂
Shocks are like old men. When both are old and worn out, neither can get it up.
100% facts! 😂
Sounds like a sore dk. Hard to beat
Wait so he can order the parts and install from mmx or i have to get it delivered to my house and he can install it?
Both
You can do it either way, order yourself and take them to him or he can order them for you. Up to you. 😉
All mopar has this fuses ??
No, this is specific to the Fore dual pump set up. 😉
Why no x pipe I lost 12 whp and 15 torque when I removed the x pipe when I did dumps. granite I don't make the horsepower you make but
Interesting. Check out the Engine Masters episode where they test dumps to full exhaust and just an x-pipe. Dumps have to be the right length.😉

@@noavgrt6490 I’ll have to watch it again. I could be wrong. 😉

I got 1 year out of my Lakewoods :-(
That's about what I got. Maybe a tad more. 💪
You are going to lose some HP, and those fumes are not good for you to breathe, because you drive your car, but it's your car
I gained 14whp on my all motor car.. and alot more on a hellcat I tested on.. have to be the right length. They're the right length. 😊
