Wow. You have stuff I don't even have! HL-Ray from The Flowers here. Strange, unnerving, to revisit and sort of reconnect with one's youth and...anger(?) Great too to embarrass my kids! Sorry about my strange RUclips name - sometimes care is required these days. These mixes...sound so different to anything I have. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
The second track on this 'discography' was played on the Tameside (Manchester) Community Radio Punk & New Wave show last Thursday. Hadn't ever heard it before, but I liked it instantly - even though I'm 62. Old punks never die, well their musical taste doesn't anyway!
Oooh you were kind enough to answer me politely, Hliary, when I found you on FB and I just want to say what a thrill that was.
We should be thanking you ... I can only speak for myself ofc, but ... you have given me, alone, hours of pleasure.
Thank you so much xxxx
This music is so wonderful.I found your band on a record compilation called mutant pop on the Fast product label, does that ring a bell at all? On a side note, there is an EP called Fright Night by a band called Apollo that came out last year that carries on the spirit of your sound beautifully! All the best
@@lucasmoreno9848 We had a sound? Now I'm curious...The oast can sometimes be a strange place though...That said, am committed to Edinburgh Book Festival event to promote Hungry Beat the book about all that time ago in Scotland...
OMG just realised - John Peel session? I never even had a copy of this! Again thanks.
One of the better post punk bands I've heard. I love this!
A real blast from the past! "I first heard "Life After Dark" ( a different mix from this) on the Mutant Pop compilation back in the 1980s. I think that album has been posted on YT.
This is missing the other recording of "Life After Dark", as featured on "Mutant Pop", but is otherwise complete. Always a great band!
From the land of Scott apparently. 🙂
Thanks
I used to listen to the song I freaking aircraft carrier back in 1979 and 1980
thank you
¡Lo más! ♥️

Ti amo (I love you)
Where did you find the peel session tracks?
