Looks cool. Though I don't know about you but if my jeans don't fit me anymore, a denim dress made from the legs definitely won't fit me.
I think this is for someone smaller, like a child. Or it might be someone very pear shaped
Well you could thrift some larger jeans for cheap. Good point though.

I had the same thought. I'm like if the pants don't fit how is the dress gonna fit? Especially since you used the same waist band unless it sits up higher on you. Or it could be for someone else. Cool idea though!
I was thinking that too. I think in terms of outgrowing horizontally cause I'm a fatty, but I can see how like if you're a kid who's still growing mostly vertically you could have a pair of jeans that fit except that the legs end way short of your ankles which looks weird. And then turning the short jeans into a dress like this would work great.

@@Scl45689 i would happily take a 3d cardboard cutout (perpendicular slotted cardboard shapes) modelling it, even. I loved the flat shots but a 3D one would really highlight the look

This is actually VERY cool to see & very creative!! I loved the design of the Jean dress & the colors/patterns used.
I would prefer to see the dress modelled or worn after it was finished to see how it looks, but still a great transformation!⚘
I however have seen some comments on here that make fun of people trying to do something this creative & meaningful. Allot of petty complaints. Just because you cant do it, or you dont have the skills, or you think the materials are too ugly doesn't mean that you have the right to dismiss or make fun of these people that try to make something new & usable out of something old or un-usable.
Recycling clothes that are too small or too large and recycling/re-designing them into something wearable again saves tuns of money, is SUPER creative if you know what your doing and helps the environment! Clothes that end up in the trash go to our already full landfills and create poisonous greenhouse gasses that directly affects our climate. So any recycling or reusing of fabrics in old or non fitting clothes means less resources; both monetary & environmental, and provides a new look on an old item and absolutely no waste.
Fact: Every piece of clothing that is worn goes through a complex manufacturing process that uses a high amount of electricity, water & other energy sources. Recycling clothes saves energy by reducing or eliminating the need to make or process these materials.
Some people can actually make a very good lucrative investment from recycling or creating new clothes to sell as a business (if they're good at it like this person is) it takes time & skill for such an accomplishment.
So please dont make fun of people that take time to do this....They should be commended for they're hard work, creativity & skills. Anyone can learn to see and to design something new out of something old, it's not rocket science!

Se você é de um manequim maior é só usar "2" calças jeans, esse trabalho é de customização, portanto é somente usar a imaginação e aproveitar a dica do vídeo, que diga-se de passagem "ficou maravilhoso ".

It's very cute and creative. A great way to recycle jeans, I just think it's a little too curvy for a kid.
This was one of the coolest and worthwhile videos I've watched completely through in a while. I may actually try this, to attempt and make my first piece of clothing🥰
Make sure you leave more room than they did at the edges for the seams, otherwise it won’t fit At All.
Actually, now that I think about it, don’t do this. Find an actual pattern to follow. There are no proper seams for the breasts or other curvature- it’s creative but just not practical. If you want to sew, get a simple pattern
@@traciekido8152 That was my thought - no darts, etc., for shaping. A must for many women.
My Grandmother wouldn't use or buy a Pattern, she simply made what ever she wanted to wear just using her mind. And making her own Pattern . She would take an outfit apart, and lay the pieces on the material or newspapers or brown paper bags, and mark around the outfit. And cut and sew. She was a Totally Awesome sewer.

Very cool transition from jeans to dress, I love the design & patterns used. The purse could use more of the checkered pattern in the flowers but other than that it was super cute.

Very resourceful. And a very well done.
This is nice but, I'd have used a seam ripper instead of just cutting everything around those seams. Also, noticed you cut too close to the line marking. You should leave the material for seam allowance. And use seam ripper to cut out the thread from around the pockets and use that seam allowance to see them into the material you want. But this is a pretty neat and nifty idea.

А люди у нас плоские? Майка имеет один материал, а джинса - это совсем другой материал. Тем не менее из видео понятно, что для швеи это одно и то же. На футболках нет вытачек и она сидит превосходно. Возьмите другой материал и по выкройке футболки из другого материала вы получите фиг знает что.
...и вырезано всё "на глаз", косо криво...ужас..Вот же ж канальщики... Из маленьких джинсов сшила платье...на ребенка? Ребенку такая тяжёлая одежда нужна? Ну ветровка..да, но не платье...
Типа ляшка в джинсы не влезла, а туловище в эти же джинсы влезло. Остановите землю
Как с хороших джинс сшить страшный сарафан и страшную сумку? 🤦♀️
Этот сарафан разве что на картонного манекена налезет,да и то ширпотребно будет смотреться.Уже по видео видно,что получается полная хр..ь-швы неровные,нитки торчат,а по бокам платье вообще наизнанку сшито и это при том,что оооочень маленькое и джинсовый материал так не сшивают для носки
