    Just had a friend call from the Bahamas 🇧🇸. Boy was he pissed!
    0/5 on the madscad 190AT.
    All five wahoo were on the line only 10-20 seconds. This lure has hook issues for sure

    • @NomadTackle
      @NomadTackle  8 месяцев назад

      Thanks for the message. The hook configuration is the result of R&D with many experienced anglers. In fact multiple US anglers were changing out the Madmacs with a similar hook set up.

      So you’re telling me to buy your lure and then change the hooks😂😂😂😂

    • @NomadTackle
      @NomadTackle  8 месяцев назад

      @@thoenyhills217 No. The current hook set up of single and treble is what US anglers were changing out to on the old ones. So the new 190ATs come standard with this configuration due to customers preferring this over two singles.

    Awesome product - quick question how do you connect lure leader to leader on main line- snap swivels??

    • @NomadTackle
      @NomadTackle  15 дней назад

      FG knot is recommended. Swivels and snaps can affect how the lure tracks and its top speeds

    Very nice looking lure. I would imagine you can still drag big skirted lures faster though 🤷🏻‍♂️

      @NomadTackle  9 месяцев назад

      Hey thanks for the question. There are high speed jet head style skirts, they still blow out at high speeds. The Madscad hangs in there over 20 knots!

    Are you using wire with these or is it not needed?

    • @FishUtila
      @FishUtila 10 месяцев назад +2

      If your chasing wahoo I would recommend using wire

    What line and terminal tackle so you use to keep it down at high speeds? Flourocarbon leader?

    • @NomadTackle
      @NomadTackle  9 месяцев назад

      During that session the following terminal set up was used. 100lb braid, wind on leader of 150lb mono and about a 2 ft wire leader

    • @NomadTackle
