  • What's the difference between the Vertrex Swim and Max models. There's a lot!! The Max sinks twice as fast as the Swim to start with but there's much more to it. The Swim is a pat.pending design that actually swims when sinking and then vibrates when you lift it. The swim CANNOT be fished on a straight retrieve and must be cast out and fished on a stop start retrieve. The Max CAN be fished either stop/start or on a constant retrieve and is also ideal for deeper water. It's time to get vibing with the #nomadvibetribe
    VERTREX MAX
Maximum vibration and maximum depth is what the Vertrex Max is all about. A unique design from Nomad Design lure designer Damon Olsen, the deep body profile combined with finely tuned internal weights, delivers a soft vibration bait that sinks level without spinning on the drop. This allows you to get down to the fish faster.
    VERTREX SWIM
The Vertrex Swim (pat. pending) is a unique Nomad designed swimming soft Vibe bait. It is the first lure of its kind that swims naturally when sinking and vibrates when lifted creating an irresistible combination for any species. The Vertrex Swim is typically fished in shallower water in lower current situations. The Vertrex Swim is NOT a bait that you can simply straight retrieve.  There is a specific lift and pause technique that needs to be used with this bait for maximum effectiveness and this can be seen on many of our Vertrex Swim RUclips tutorial clips.
Vibing is a new technique and fishing system that revolves around the Nomad Vertrex Soft Vibe lure series, and is effective from 2ft to 300ft of water on a huge range of species.
So how did a whole new way of fishing come about? Well, it's not new, it's been a go to fishing technique in Australia for over 15 years and it's one of the most widely used and effective techniques on many Australian species. With this knowledge and experience behind them, Capt. Jarad "Dingo" Boshammer and Nomad Design founder, designer and charter captain Damon Olsen teamed up to bring Vibing to the USA. It simply catches fish, and it doesn't matter if it's a lake in Florida or the Red Sea, fish eat vibes. Dingo as his mates know him, is a hard core charter captain working out of Jupiter who has fished all over the world doing everything from giant Black Marlin on the Great Barrier Reef to fly fishing for world records.
Damon knew that vibes would catch fish in the USA and Dingo has perfected the technique and ways to fish these vibes over 12 months of work, proving they are "more effective than livebait" in some situations on species like Redfish, Snook, Striped Bass, Yellowtail, Seabass, Seatrout, Black Drum, Snapper, Grouper and just about everything else that swims. The systems, lures and techniques for Vibing have been perfected on the water over years of experience between some of the world's best anglers and designers and are subject to pending patent applications.
The Nomad Vibing system is designed to be easy to use and to catch you more fish. It's time to get vibing with Nomad and join the #nomadvibetribe. You can also learn more from the #nomadvibemasters about techniques that work and how to use the vibing system to catch more fish. The #nomadvibemasters are an elite group of anglers and captains who are recognised leaders in their field and have perfected the techniques of fishing vibes to catch more fish.

Hey - The swim is deadly on the vertical presentation, however It has a much slower sinking rate than the Max. Its proven deadly when the target species is higher in the water column and you want that hangtime as it swims down. So dependent on the situation

Hey good question - depends on location. In areas where deep water vibing is the go the 130 and 150. In areas where its more an inshore program the smaller sizes dominte.
