I’ve got a problem with my 300 long story short I don’t know anything about it but it seems that It’s stuck the shifter rods won’t move the body is off the frame is there anything that I should look into
If you are trying to move them by hand they can be really difficult sometimes. If the body is off remove the top cover on the 300 that way you can see if its stuck in gear then try lining up the gears and shifting. If your drveshafts are still connected it could be easily just bound up. A lot of times with ours we have to shift between R N & D to get things engaged and disengaged. Also keep in mind if the front is shifted into low the rear will only go into low and vice versa.
@@TabooCustoms Ok so my rods are looking from the top passenger side the most drivers side is out and the passenger side is in and it feels like just the front is in gaged rear amperes to be in neutral dose that seem correct to you I’ve built my own twin stick rods and linkage. transmission is in neutral and no I didn’t use thread rods shifter works great if u take the pin out Sorry to bother you but thanks so very much for answering my questions I’m a rookie 30 years otr truck driver and now I’m all broken up and I set in my wheelchair and try to fix up my 77CJ7 But seriously Thanks for answering me earlier today

did you run into driveshaft clearance issues? conflict with the starter motor?
No issues with starter motor, but the body has to be clearance for the case and driveshaft.
Are all Dana 300’s passenger side drop?....
Yes, as far as I know they are all passenger drop.
