I’ve been kicked out of many salons because I’m paying my money so,you give me what I ask for. They didn’t want to fulfill my request and they asked me to leave…. How funny. I work hard for my money so I get to say what I will pay for. My tech now is amazing. I drive 1.5 hours to my appointments and I love her so worth it!. ❤❤❤

They knew what they were doing. I'm a nail tech. The reason why they did that type of Bulky flower is to get more money out of you. If a customer usually stick with 1 thing and all of a sudden change it up I make sure they know the price first before doing it bc I get that people are on a budget. That's so disappointing that they didn't listen to you
I was hoping a nail tech would respond !! THANK YOU. I was sure when I left it was a money grab because of the sudden switch up. Thank you for the advice on asking how much before they do it because they just say any number thinking it's ok 😫

I pay $60 plus a tip when I get my nails done. I would have gone along with their suggestion as well and felt similar to you! But, they’re not paying for it so get what you want or have them remove and start over if it doesn’t come out how you wanted. Super uncomfortable but who has $60 to throw away?!
you said this perfectly !! I didn't have $60 to throw away, and it wasn't about what they wanted because I had to pay and wear the nails. I learned to speak up because WOW. I was just so shocked at how persistent they can be.
Hi! Awesome stuffing video! Ahh I’m sorry that happened with your nails. I’ve had that happen with a design I got. Wasn’t what I wanted and they wouldn’t fix it. Never went back to that place lol

oh no. I do not like that the nail tech will not listen to what you want and refuse to fix it. I am definitely not going back either. It is too much of a hassle to go back and forth over a design when I am paying them.
New subbie I was 998 and now you are at 1k after the video ended so congratulations. I love going to get my nails done get dip, sometimes I take their suggestions but they always do one nail and if I don’t like what they suggested I tell them what color I want and that’s that, sorry you had that bad experience and yes $45 for dip and they normally charge $5per finger design💅

Hi 👋🏾 was passing through lol .. I totally feel you on the nail experience. I recently went to the nail shop for the 1st time after 10 years (my original nail tech moved out of state) the guy I went to did not listen to me! He did all that talking and messed my nails up. I love doing my nails it’s therapeutic for me and I was really bummed at how they turned out, so I definitely understand. Hopefully next time you have a better experience

When getting your nails done, just remember that you are the one paying for the service. Up until the time that you pay, they should be listening to you. Definitely don’t go back to that shop!

I can't wait to find my lady too lol. I know there can be good ones so I am holding onto hope. I actually love my nails without polish so I might do polish rarely I haven't decided yet.

I would have walked out the minute she kept pushing what she wanted to give you. Your the customer and it's your choice. I went to one that tried what she did to you and I walked out and made it clear that I would not be recommending them. I then called my Aunt who sent me to a great one. Decent priced and everything. I left a nasty review also on them cause she wasted my time. She wanted to charge you more so she basically cheated you.
you have so much courage that I admire !! I have learned it is important to communicate to them that not listening to the customer is NOT OK and walking away show that, Thank you for sharing this experience !!

I don't go to salons of any kind (nails, hair, etc). Haven't had a great experience yet... plus I'm really ticklish. 😂😂😂😂
I rather just paint my nails at home. It's nothing fancy but at least I'll get my way & can wipe it off if I don't like it. 💅🏿😂

I also used to never go to salons. I still don't get my hair or anything else done but recently I decided to give it a try with the nails and these past few experiences have reminded me why I don't like them.
Girlllllll I had a bad experience and I blame myself for not making an appointment in advance however, the normal lady that did my nails was not available so I allowed her husband to do them figure she’s good so he should be too needless to say he jacked my shape all the way up. I did not leave that salon. I waited for his wife, which was the lady who normally did my nails it was like, Traci I need you to fix my nails. Your husband jacked my shape up and I am not leaving with these nails😂😂😂 she understood and fixed them for me . I will never do that again😂
OMG NOT THE HUSBAND 😭😂 I will NEVER make this mistake again because it is so annoying knowing this isn't what I wanted. I am happy to hear you stayed and got her to fix it LOL

So sorry you had the experience. I’ve quit going to nail salons. I feel like they just don’t listen so I have learned how to do my own and I am saving so much money.😊
I am so close to quitting too 😭😂 they TRULY do not listen it is so annoying.
How did you start doing them at home ? Did you order everything online or ?
@@WealthyOnPurpose I just get full nails and glue them on then I use a gel builder and gel color and they work out really great. If you can paint your nails, you can do it also, there’s great videos online and if you want to do the dip that is very easy also, you can order everything on Amazon and save so much money. The nail and gel is less expensive than the powder dip but once you buy the powder dip which would cost you about what it would be to go and get your nails done once it last quite a long time and there’s lots of great videos on RUclips, but honestly, it’s really easy, you can do it.
