Thanks waiting for THE LONG KISS GOODNIGHT in 4k with extras
Thanks for the Heat 4K code. This'll last me until I get the 4K as it's on the list for me!
Also, earned yourself a sub!
Thanks for the sub, glad the code worked! I give them away often, so I forget which ones I haven't given out!
You mentioned the silent version phantom of the opera being a part of the classic movie monster set I personally hope that they do 4k restoration of the movie based on the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical of phantom of the opera.
I checked out "Nope" on 4k and so happy it has over 1 hour of special features (specifically a 'making of') that is almost as important to me as a beautiful looking movie when it comes to collecting. I will definitely be picking up a copy!
You'll love it, it's a great studio release with actual special features!
Dude...my names hunter and I love your collection! I have a small collection now, used to have 500 movies, I'm currently rebuilding it.
Welcome to the channel fellow Hunter!
Top Gun is actually my favorite 4K personally.
I didn't want to populate it with just older movies, but that 4K is tremendous. Paramount has been kicking ass with their physical media.
Any atmos on any of these or any extras behind the scenes making
Heat has plenty of extras and special features no Atmos. Halloween is loaded with extras and Atmos/Dolby Vision. Transformers is Atmos/Dolby Vision and has a third bonus disc of extras. The Universal Monsters sets have tons of bonus features, but no Atmos. Nope has Atmos and lots of bonus features.
Instead of throwing away those digital codes, send em to me!
Nah, forget "Transformers" or any of the sequels. Also forget any of the Marvel films. Most of them come in a single layer 66GB 4K disc. As opposed to a dual layer 100GB 4k disc (thanks a lot, Disney.) You want to show off your tv and sound system? Start with "Pacific Rim" I'm talking about the original Warner Bros release, not the crappy Universal pictures sequel called "Pacific Rim: Uprising."
Another film that is great to show off your theater is "Jaws." It comes with a 100GB 4K disc with HDR10, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. And it looks and sounds incredible.
Lastly, I recommend the Shout Factory 4k release of "Coraline." Another 100GB dual layer 4k disc with Dolby Vision dynamic metadata. The colors will make your tv, whether it's an OLED or not, truly shine. The picture, in my opinion is the BEST in the market today.
Honorable mention: "Alita: Battle Angel."
Some excellent suggestions!
