If Newcastle were to be taken over, they'd serve as a lightning rod to redirect some of the hate Man City get, like what City did for Chelsea in 2008. Taking that into consideration, here's to ruining football together, Toon faithful. 🥂
Rodrigo Santos see the thing is Newcastle have actual history Chelsea had some history not the best but they also didn’t break the transfer market like city and psg I mean up until 2018 I think costa was there record signing not that expensive or inflated Psg actually have good fans as well like their fans are better than any prem fans while city have nothing
City have plenty of history. Do your research. Before the takeover, we had 2 league titles, 4 FA Cups, 2 League Cups, 1 UEFA Cup Winner's Cup, and 3 Charity Shields, which is just one fewer than all the trophies Newcastle have currently (4x leagues, 6x FA Cups, 1x Charity Shield, 1x Inter-Cities Fairs Cup, 1x Intertoto Cup). Also, Man City are older (founded 1880) than both Newcastle (1892) and Chelsea (1905). Though our history isn't as illustrious as, say, Liverpool or Man United, it's delusional to deny that we have one.
Because they're being taken over by a murderous bastard that makes Sheikh Mansour, Roman Abramovich, Mike Ashley, Stan Kroenke and the Glazers seem human. Also, because their fans punch horses, but that's beside the point.
My club isn’t scared of Newcastle’s takeover. My club IS Newcastle. But come on, the takeover hasn’t happened yet! And if it does happen, it’s still going to take time! And yes there’s FFP to consider (some people seem to be assuming it will disappear because of covid, but no indication yet). However NUFC will be able to benefit from increased sponsorships and advertising revenues that other teams have. All those Sports Direct ads - NUFC receives £0 in revenue, and minimal retail, income which was given to Sports Direct.
Shocker. /s Imagine that, a bastard club being happy for another bastard club. Look, Newcastle no doubt deserve better than Mike Ashley. Thing is, the guy taking over isn't. He's a murderous douchebag.
As a Chelsea fan, Im definitely not scared about Newcastle takeover. I mean we already winning trophies almost every year, yeah sure not as much as the last decade but we're a top club despite having the worst squad of all time for the club, we're still doing good. I'm pretty sure with having one of the best youth academies and still making big money transfers, we will still win titles.
I’m a Liverpool fan, honestly I was really excited to see Newcastle get a takeover and was really happy for them.... and then he brought up the fact they might fuck us over for league titles :(
The fact chelsea had won trophies. Had desailly, gullit, and zola all in their books before the take over. Maybe they werent being ran into the ground. Maybe they would have done just aswell without abramovich
I find it weird that people think Newcastle are just going to win the title next season and the season after that etc, when it took Man city two takeovers and 4 years to win a title - before FFP - and Everton haven't even got Europa League in 4 years.
Unpopular opinion: Yes there's a lot of money involved in football and there's very little morality left in football, but I'd like to fucking think that we can draw the line at owners who rule COUNTRIES with an iron fist. Say what you like about owners such as Mike Ashley and The Davids at West Ham. Yes, fucking bad owners, shouldn't be allowed to run a football club, but at least they do not have the blood of thousands on their hands. Mike Ashley treats people like garbage but at least he doesn't murder journalists with a bone saw when they disagree with him. If Newcastle want to dream big, let them. They're a big club, they deserve way better than Mike Ashley, but these owners are so wrong on a morality scale that it makes Mike Ashley look like a godly human being. We get mad at players for selling their souls to play in China and Qatar, the same should apply for football clubs. I'm a Manchester United fan (life sucks yes), and I hate the Glazers but I'd rather we got a random billionaire to own the club rather than the crown prince of Saudi fucking Arabia, where women are treated so badly, they make Bill Cosby look like a saint. My final point is, if this was any other club, you'd be against it, and that would make you hypocritical. I just can't believe Newcastle are so willing to ignore human rights abuses for some money. Maybe I was wrong, maybe ye are more like your current owner than I originally thought.
I don't think Newcastle will immediately challenge, they need to rebuild. Currently, the club is rotten to the core. They play a system for which they don't have the personnel. Clearly, they basically need an entirely new squad, with currently only 3 or 4 players with the potential to challenge for the league, with Almirón, Saint-Maximin, Joelinton (yes Joelinton, he isn't terrible, he's just asked to play a rol he isn't suited to, as he is more of a second striker) and arguably Dubravka. They would basically need a new defence and midfield. With FFP in play, it will probably take 3-6 years, with a great deal of luck.
I don’t want this too happen. They don’t seem like good people and would make the premier league too controversial. Also why would this kick Chelsea out the top 6? I’m an Arsenal fan and if you think about it Chelsea is probably one of the best performing premier league top 6 clubs and with Ziyech joining and transfer ban gone. They have many good talents. I don’t see why they’d get knocked out.

The warnings on Pardew came good in the end. He's had the luck of form on occasion (FA Cup Final and Newcastle's 5th finish), but he has so many awful runs no sane PL team would touch him now.
... knowing our luck, Staveley will bring him back.
Here’s an idea.Your clubs most unrealistic transfer rumour
Some of these comparisons & quotes are brilliant!
“A league cup made in China” common man!!😂😂😂🤦🏽♂️
As a Liverpool fan, I am delighted for Newcastle. they have suffered under their owner for too long. As a Liverpool fan, I know how that is, before FSG saved us from Hicks and shaving cream, we were in terrible shape. Sure. I did say I never wanted Arab owners that would just pour money into the club, I wanted real busines men and we got that, but even Arab Sheiks are better than Mike Ashley. Newcastle is my second favorite club in England, I use to love watching games between Liverpool and Newcastle in the 90's. they were always very exciting. I think it ended 4-3 2 or 3 years in a row at Anfield.
No, the guy who is taking over is a murderous prick who makes Mike Ashley seem human. Yes, the Geordies definitely deserve better than Mike Ashley, but this guy is not it.
Can we just add not wanting another city to all of these
Chelsea started that ball rolling dude. City sped lots of cash but the football is a pleasure to watch. Chelsea spent lots of cash to park the bloody bus. Without a doubt the most undeserved champions league ever. City haven't won a champions league.
N.B. I don't support any club in the Premier league
@@KinchasaurasRex city have been worse for it in the last half decade and its the trophies and achievements that count not the style that gets u there
@@joeyhussell2924 exactly, trophies and achievements. Like I said in my previous comment. City haven't even reached UCL final. Chelsea have been to two, winning one and a Europa League.
@@KinchasaurasRex also United's champions league win was less deserved than the Chelsea one
@@joeyhussell2924 sounds to me, you're a Chelsea fan that's got the hump. 'Utds win less deserved' 😆
A) Which one?
B) Chelsea only UCL winner in HISTORY to get dumped out at the group stage the following year.
Chelsea was the laughing stock of English football. Its where decent strikers went to retire and collect a fat pay check.
From an Everton fan, I don't consider Newcastle competition, nor do I care about the supporters enough to bicker with them.
Sincerely,
An Everton Fan
10:58 he started talking in arabic to pay respect to the new owners
Awesome video all these clubs need to get over themselves Irish guy I'm a newcastle utd fan
This aged well
Imagine acting like Brighton were the "better side" in that 16/17 season...we led the league for the first 3/4 of the season and always led the league in GD. We ended up with an 11 higher GD than them at the end of the season...
Jealousy simple! I look excited ish 😂
You’re very right with arsenal 😭 but 1 more reason our owners haven’t pumped money in and our fans are saying time for change (surprise) but he won’t sell the club
Do a vid on each teams best player that hasn’t made it at international level e.g: Lacazette
idk why but that idea has Alfie written all over it.
Mr. Ethan Rothermel there’s a few good options, Lacazette, Laporte, Felipe Anderson etc
Jason Steele played for Brighton that season
If Newcastle were to be taken over, they'd serve as a lightning rod to redirect some of the hate Man City get, like what City did for Chelsea in 2008.
Taking that into consideration, here's to ruining football together, Toon faithful. 🥂
Rodrigo Santos see the thing is Newcastle have actual history Chelsea had some history not the best but they also didn’t break the transfer market like city and psg I mean up until 2018 I think costa was there record signing not that expensive or inflated
Psg actually have good fans as well like their fans are better than any prem fans while city have nothing
Except Newcastle is being taken over by a murderous donkey that makes Mike Ashley seem human.
Because they're being taken over by a murderous bastard that makes Sheikh Mansour, Roman Abramovich, Mike Ashley, Stan Kroenke and the Glazers seem human. Also, because their fans punch horses, but that's beside the point.
Finally somebody can by Bale
Good point
My club isn’t scared of Newcastle’s takeover. My club IS Newcastle. But come on, the takeover hasn’t happened yet! And if it does happen, it’s still going to take time! And yes there’s FFP to consider (some people seem to be assuming it will disappear because of covid, but no indication yet). However NUFC will be able to benefit from increased sponsorships and advertising revenues that other teams have. All those Sports Direct ads - NUFC receives £0 in revenue, and minimal retail, income which was given to Sports Direct.
All I wanted was a new castle *now their buying me a football club*

I'm a Chelsea fan and despite my opinions against the Saudi government I'm happy for the Newcastle takeover
Imagine my shock
@LucasTorreiraisthegoat mate, if CHELSEA is scum, what does that make arsenal??
If you oppose the Saudi government you should oppose this. They are using Newcastle as a front to help improve their global 'brand'.
Shocker. /s
Imagine that, a bastard club being happy for another bastard club. Look, Newcastle no doubt deserve better than Mike Ashley. Thing is, the guy taking over isn't. He's a murderous douchebag.
@@heinzdoofenshmirtz8643 Exactly. They've basically traded the devil for something even worse.
Somebody watch friends today 😂
As a wolves fan I don’t mind Newcastle being took over, bring them on I say.
They protecc
They defend
They attack
But most importantly
Newcastle are back.
And they wear white and black

To be fair Sheffield United have a good reason to have a grudge on West Ham. Also they are the ones with Tevez masks so they won’t let it go either...
I think Newcastle fans aren’t excited because they’ve had so many takeover rumours that haven’t happened
If Newcastle get relegated, can this takeover happen?
That Jeff Hendrick comment aged well
The fact chelsea had won trophies. Had desailly, gullit, and zola all in their books before the take over. Maybe they werent being ran into the ground. Maybe they would have done just aswell without abramovich

Newcastle with money is a scary prospect, if you see what happened with Chelsea and Man City a big club like Newcastle could dominate for years
Where is this "takover"? i dont see any official announcements? It's just rumors. Mike Ashley is still the owner of NUFC.
I find it weird that people think Newcastle are just going to win the title next season and the season after that etc, when it took Man city two takeovers and 4 years to win a title - before FFP - and Everton haven't even got Europa League in 4 years.
I just hope shelvey will still get played because he’s class
Make a vid of your clubs position in the league with the squad ten years ago but with the same current
managers
The amount of times Irish guy has made fun of rio Ferdinand’s boxing career 😂😂
