I’ve said for 14 months this would happen, with people telling me I’m stupid or a dreamer. But we are Newcastle fans! We deserve to dream, after 14 years deserve some fun again in this club! Do I think we’ll win everything fast?!? Not a chance. Do I think it’s going to be a hell of a ride??? Hell YES!
I don't think many will try to defend a financial takeover feuled by blood money. It has happened before, and it will happen again. Fighting that is a losing battle. It's not the fault of the fans, though. I'll say this, I'm MUCH happier to see something like this happen to a club like Newcastle United, than I was to see it happen for a club like Manchester City.
Let's take "pl" out the equation, and call it the top tier of English football. It was the case before that a large part of the leage could challenge for European football. Nothing new.

As a Newcastle fan my earliest memory of a match was winning 6-1 in the championship with Danny Guthrie being man of the match. To see them now having ambition and the possibility of challenging for at least the top half of the league fills me with excitement. I never got to see the glory days of the entertainers with Keegan, Ginola and Ferdinand, but I’m glad that I get to experience what I hope will be the new glory days. HWTL
depends how the club is ran, pep, and the sporting director re beyond competitive, they want to win, if this takeover is not met with a desire to win, then it is pointless. If great manager and great board is appointed like city, then yes.
I get it's mainly humour but I don't think anyone should be casually overlooking the new owners and their record on gay rights, women rights and slicing up a journalist and dissolving him in acid.

Lovely news for NUFC fans and as a Chelsea die hard I am happy and excited. Tho, just pure money doesn't get you success, strategy does. I'm not a Newcastle fan but I'm really excited, I've been only following football for the last 3-4 and I've never had the opportunity to see something like this. I wonder how many signings there gonna make in January
I don't think they'll start spending until next season, but it's very exciting
I assure you that they would make 2 signings MAXIMUM
It'll be an army of loan to buys
Our biggest problem will be dealing with that wnkr of an agent riola

I’m happy for Newcastle. Now the Glazers just need to wake up and realise that Man United needs better owners 😭

I am in a bad situation. Should I listen to them?
Goodness me, you're not from Liverpool are you?
@@smartgenes1 No bro, I am from Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦
By the way, most of the Saudi Arabian population are Reds fans. But HRH the Crown Prince targeted youths to increase the number of Magpies's fans
As a lifelong city fan I wish you Newcastle fans good luck, people will be happy for you until they get jealous😂
I'm thrilled for the Newcastle supporters, especially the old guard. Those people will be taken back to a state that made sense to them. I mean imagine hearing Leeds in the top division playing good ball, Newcastle being a strong club and Ronaldo at United, Liverpool won the Champions League not long ago, So much of this is a mix of the 2000s happening again.
When I was a child Newcastle were a good club and I knew nothing of this owner but if it's finally truly time for him to buzz off thank you football gods. No club deserves to be used by the owners. So many false dawns may it be your club's time to be liberated and bring joy to all people who love football
Brucie scored 19 goals in a season as a cb at utd. He was a beast
I have been a Newcastle fan for 30 years. I said over a year ago I would not watch another match whilst Bruce was in charge.
The most exciting news for the club. The richest backing financially. The fans deserve this. Truly deserve this. Just to get Ashley out is a miracle.
By 2030 10th to 1st will all be capable of challenging for a CL spot/winning the PL.
Mark my words.
Nah bruh that will bottle neck because the 7-10 spot they will be wasting so much money not getting euro football and eventually bail
Let's take "pl" out the equation, and call it the top tier of English football. It was the case before that a large part of the leage could challenge for European football. Nothing new.
Oddly happy for irish guy. After all the torture this must be a dream come true for him
I've been a fan of Newcastle for years..now all I'm gonna hear is oh look all the Newcastle fans coming out the wood work. It's not my fault iv had nothing to brag about for years🤣😂
As a Newcastle fan my earliest memory of a match was winning 6-1 in the championship with Danny Guthrie being man of the match. To see them now having ambition and the possibility of challenging for at least the top half of the league fills me with excitement. I never got to see the glory days of the entertainers with Keegan, Ginola and Ferdinand, but I’m glad that I get to experience what I hope will be the new glory days. HWTL
Good luck to them. Great fans. Hope your new owners do as much for your club and community as ours have done.
I'm not a Newcastle fan I support Swansea but I'm so happy something good has finally for the Newcastle fan base good on em
This is just absolutely insane. Newcastle will be competing for PL titles.
depends how the club is ran, pep, and the sporting director re beyond competitive, they want to win, if this takeover is not met with a desire to win, then it is pointless. If great manager and great board is appointed like city, then yes.
why are people so hyped over these hypothetical, artificial achievements?
I get it's mainly humour but I don't think anyone should be casually overlooking the new owners and their record on gay rights, women rights and slicing up a journalist and dissolving him in acid.
So happy for the Geordies
But my club Arsenal.Just another nail in the coffin
Newcastle and Arsenal gonna replace each other now, Newcastle are gonna be the top 4 team to win a FA cup now while Arsenal fans are gonna be the team having problems with relegation
FFS why couldn't a billionaire takeover arsenal😫

If there is a club that deserves a takeover, its Newcastle United. A club with actual history and a proud fanbase.
no you wrong, if you mean Man City....after the hype has died down and Newcastle start winning titles they will face a lot of hate, and people will start to forget their history like the treatment given to City. Don't forget City were in the same position you were before the takeover, embarrassed 8-0 by their neighbours , living in the shadow of their successful neighbours, relegation, a very long wait for a league title, a crooked owner just to name a few.
Haha, I actually know the guy you use for the excited fan segment. He's one of the most loyal newcastle fans I've ever known, he also has learning difficulties but doesn't let it get in the way of supporting every aspect of newcastle, from their woman's team to the under 21s and the main team, literally at every game.
Lovely news for NUFC fans and as a Chelsea die hard I am happy and excited. Tho, just pure money doesn't get you success, strategy does. It's most important that the owners and the new establishment bring the absolute world class in terms of football relations, coaching staff etc. Just like Chelsea and Man City did. Invest in young talent development, get massive signings and world class coaches, scouts, directors.
