    • @doggerlander
      @doggerlander 3 года назад

      @@jtmmmm27 you dumbasses really love to repeat this dead and disproven argument so much, it proves that you know absolutely nothing about football.
      top teams generate the money they utilize through their performance on the pitch, prize money, stadium attendance, tv rights, marketing, smart transfer business, etc, hence why teams like barcelona and madrid (and before klopp, Dortmund and Liverpool) are in huge debts and have lost so much money which they probably won't recover in years, thanks to the pandemic and some bad decision making. City, PSG and now Newcastle don't have this problem, because their owners are wealthy and inject all their money from outside sources. They can't possibly go bankrupt unless their owner does. They won't face the consequences of making bad business because they can always inject some more and get over with it, like Chelsea has done for years.
      That's why Fair Play rules exist, to ensure that teams only spend as much as they earn. But PSG and CIty have broken those rules time and time again and the UEFA don't seem to give a shit about the unfair advantage they have.
      That's not even getting into how much they can spend and the ways the break the transfer business by making players so expensive that even top teams can't afford them. Or downright ignoring 200million offers like it's nothing.

    1:08 tbf though, as a german lfc fan that watches german football alot, i remember when many talked about Joelinton being the next Firmino and not only german fans and media. And he was quite quality for Hoffenheim, still Nufc overpaid by 10m or so but it was a gamble anyway and turned out to be a bad one.
    And hoffenheim, although being a small club and irrelevant in german football when it comes to their fan scene and history, they produce many quality players that play at big clubs like Süle at Bayern, Volland, Firmino and few more.

    You always rip into city for spending money and downplay their achievements because of it. But then when it’s the club that you support it becomes ok? Everyone has just been jealous and salty at city.

    honestly joelinton is a genuinely great player. together with saint maximin and new player who is able to bring some creativity on the table (giovani reyna, ruslan malinovsky, florian wirtz or even eden hazard) this could be a very strong attack
