It’s so amazing how you can make your hair look like type 4 hair, type 3, 2 and 1 using water, heat, muscle etc lol!!! So gorgeous and such variety. It looks amazing. I have not flat ironed my hair in a year. I have retained about 5 inches of growth, my hair is BSL. My problem area is at the back as I can only sleep on my back, The hair is very dry and prone to breakage, trying to get that bit to grow is so difficult. I loved that you showed us a week later. We do a lot of tubies, when we flat iron our hair, that’s what we call the hair wrap. Great video, as always

@@jeanettejbeauty6374 yes. All my pillowcases are satin and I wrap my hair at night regardless. If I don’t feel like wrapping it ( very rare occasions) I feel at least relieved with the pillowcases. But that area still breaks and I still don’t know how to resolve that bit. Thanks for your response 😊

An aerosol oil sheen will help give you that silk pressed, flatter look as well, I have to have mine a little hotter to get the best results (no heat damage either). It's so crazy how your hair got flatter as time went on! My 4b/4c kinks would neva!!! Lol I like doing it myself cuz my stylists go more more airy movement which is great, but these tresses need a lil more oil and heat to stay straight! It's bad when u do it better than them lol
Your silk press process was so realistic by showing the wig cap, the week later hair etc. That's usually what happens when I do a silk press at home. Your results are beautiful!

Me too almost four and a half years natural and I have not straightened at all but it has grown so much. I really don't want to cause damage but that revair that everybody's raving about is really expensive. It sounds as though it's safer than a regular blow dryer.

Gorgeous as always. I have low-porosity hair Ana just started using the same leave in. I don’t think it’s enough. I also tried the Andre Walker’s blow dry cream that really weighed my hair down. Huge mistake. It got very straight, but reverted back when I went out into the cold. Trying pin curls for the first time.🤞🏾

Natural hair can easily look healthy in it's curly state but the flat iron will be the dead giveaway if it really is or not and your hair is clearly soooo healthy.

It’s been six years since I straightened my hair. I blew it out today to trim. It started shrinking immediately! 😩😩 I prepped my hair, used salon products and I also used two silicone heavy heat protectants but my hair isn’t having it lol!

That is just beautiful and it looked even more beautiful a week later. I could never flat iron and definitely was never able to wrap my hair so I don't know if this is going to work for me. Have you tried the revaire air dryer? That would be easy for me and then I will just stop right there. Your hair looks extremely healthy and has grown quite a bit since you cut it.
