    mack IS the greatest college football coach ever!!! you have no idea what he does for his players!!! he loves those boys and will do anything for them!!! some of his players come in with no family to support them at games so mack finds sponsor families to support them. my family was one of them. my dad is good friends with mack and sally and i know them pretty well. i CANNOT STAND people who diss on mack. they have NO IDEA what he does for those boys. they all love him like he's family!!!

    @OUfootballAuthority No you don't. If you actually read my comment you'll see that I mentioned other staff positions, such as S&C. At times the players looked gassed by the 3rd quarter. What you have to understand is that offensive turnovers, poor clock management and field position can make ANY defense look bad. In November, Texas scoring defense was ranked 20+, while its yardage per game allowed rank was 5. The coaching did not reflect the NFL caliber players that play for Texas.

    @OUfootballAuthority "Experts" said VY couldn't win the big one and Mack couldn't get to a MNC game without VY. And I didn't say you guys lost, I told you to be proud of those massive accomplishments, like winning the title in such a "competitive" conference and beating a mighty Big East team. Be proud! Don't be mad! And keep listening to those experts, I'm sure you won't be disappointed next year at all. LOL.
    You're still mad, aren't you?

    @OUfootballAuthority I'm well aware that analysts at ESPN don't decide how ESPN spends its money...however you can't deny the majority of ESPN feels it will be a successful network. That's all I have to say on the topic. A Longhorns television network is by far not the greatest thing to have come out of the great state of Texas. We've got plenty of things to be proud of... the winningest college quarterback of all time Colt McCoy for example. I believe he had a 3-1 record against oklahoma. 59>41

    @OUfootballAuthority You can't tell me 8-5 is too much to ask for. Seriously, 8 and 5 in the Big(little) 12! That's with a brand new competent coaching staff. Do you have any idea how bad our O. Coordinator and O-Line coach before was? If Mack Brown allows this team to lose more than 12 games in two seasons, he's gone. He won't let that happen. Think about it, going from playing in the National Championship to 5-7 is not a common occurrence.

  • @CrazyRussian16

    @OUfootballAuthority There's nothing to deny when you go through a rebuilding season, and actually rebuild! I'm sure a 28-20 victory over a 5-7 Texas team and beating the mighty Huskies of UConn was a moment of pride for Mobilehoma! Don't be mad, be proud!
    59-41 can't be denied tho. lol
    you still mad?

    @wiggiecl73 LOL, no, I do have a History channel link though where they had scientist and historians examin the Alamo as it was and today and looked at all the evidence and found mutliple clue that the defenders did not make a stand, but ran from the Alamo and were slaughtered outside the walls. And the history channel made it into a 2 hour documentary show which aired only once because after the state of Texas saw it, they were apalled and demanded it never be shown agian.

  • @CrazyRussian16
    @CrazyRussian16 13 лет назад

    @OUfootballAuthority 2005 Happened because of pure talent and an amazing QB that could improvise when Davis's shit schemes didn't work. The same thing at times worked with Colt McCoy. Last year Texas tried to force a rushing attack with a shitty OLine and a coordinator who couldn't make rushing scheme worth a shit. Look what happened. Look at Jamaal Charles, he was completely ineffective until the second half of the 2007 season. Look at what he is doing right now for the Chiefs.

    dear OUdouchebagauthority: That was so bad-assed how y'all beat traditional powerhouse UConn in the Fiesta Bowl after losing to A&M and Missouri! We were all really, really impressed that Medium Game Bob finally killed his duck in BCS Bowls? What was it, like five Ls in a row?!! You've been kind of quiet lately, Serlo. Did you watch that Tx-mizz game? I was there and from where I was sitting Texas looked pretty good. If Texas survives the next 2 weeks we're in the national championship AGAIN. OU's already got 1 loss and you STILL have to play Tech and Okey State. Get ready for your second trip to the cotton bowl.

  • @CrazyRussian16

    @OUfootballAuthority Go back and re-read what I said a couple more times until you get it. Yes, the Big 12 sucked last year! Nebraska was not good, WE beat them. And no I'm not that pissed at last year, we probably needed it to get rid of the garbage coaching we had. We talked about this earlier, and if you knew anything about football, you would have already understood. See, I don't need to tell anyone anything because I know what to expect from Texas now. 13-0? No way. 8-5 or 9-4? Probably.

  • @CrazyRussian16
    @CrazyRussian16 13 лет назад

    @OUfootballAuthority I'm not making excuses. Think about what happened. How does a team go from playing in the National Championship game to 5-7? Obviously a perfect shitstorm combination of poor coaching, attitude, leadership, etc. For the 5th year in the row we have a top 3 recruiting class and we just replaced OC, DC, OLine, Dline, WR, and S&C coaches with fresh, young, talented minds. See you in October. :)

  • @CrazyRussian16
    @CrazyRussian16 13 лет назад

    @OUfootballAuthority 59-41 proves enough lol. We went 5-7 and as a result we only lost one recruit, replaced our coaching staff with fresh, young talent, and we also received a 300 million dollar ESPN network contract.
    What use is a conference championship when you get your ass beat by Boise State and WVU in the Bowl Game? That looks like a colossal joke to me...
    you mad?

  • @makaldasa
    @makaldasa 16 лет назад

    eat it cholo. UT is number one in the nation. Since when is being in the top 10 consistently not being a contender? So, if you start to watch football you'll find that there aren't a lot of teams that win the national championship every year.

    Texas is a contender. Can you argue with that? "texas hasn't been to a bcs since VY left"-- VY didn't leave that long ago. Jesus. How often do you have to go to a BCS game to be good in your book? Every year? Texas has one of the toughest schedules in the nation (but I still wouldn't call OSU "very,very good") and if they can make it through the next 4 weeks they absolutely deserve to be number 1. I thought that insult up in the basement of YOUR house playing with your MOMMA's box.

    @ortiz84tx Texas didn't "almost" lose, the just flat out got their asses handed to them this year. OSU beat them in Austin for the first time in how long? And UCLA stomped that ass too. Guess all those games that they usually barely win, ended in big time ass whoopings this year.

  • @CrazyRussian16
    @CrazyRussian16 13 лет назад

    @OUfootballAuthority You must not know much about college football. The entire coaching staff was replaced with fresh young talent such as Bryan Harsin, Manny Diaz, and other position coaches (esp S&C). Certainly they will not repeat 5-7. This year Texas had about 9-3 pr 8-4 talent that was absolutely misused by inept offensive coaching. The team had no leadership and there was a general sense of entitlement that has go to go. Mack Brown fucked up, but he gets a free-bee. 3-1 in BCS bowls.

  • @wiggiecl73
    @wiggiecl73 13 лет назад

    @CrazyRussian16 I really think that 8-5 is an attainable record next season but we will most likely get back to our minimum 10 win standard in 2011. I mean look at all the talent we have at our disposal, like I've been telling that douchebag OU guy that keeps talking shit: these top 3 recruiting classes that Mack Brown has been putting together the past several seasons are going to mature a whole hell of a lot this summer and they also have something to prove. I can't wait to shut everybody up

  • @OUfootballAuthority
    @OUfootballAuthority 13 лет назад

    @CrazyRussian16 I know alot about college football. And you blaming the offensive coaching staff is rediculous. The players for UT have to execute and UT's defense is what lost it it's games. Maybe you didn't notice, but EVERYONE ran the ball on UT and did it with impunity. And that falls on Will Muschap who jumped ship to be the head coach at UF because he knew UT was now a joke. I'm sure UT may improve a little for 2011, but even that's a long shot.

  • @OUfootballAuthority
    @OUfootballAuthority 13 лет назад

    @CrazyRussian16 Those experts were right since VY first year as a started he got his ass kicked. Especially by the Sooners. A competitive conference? Most the teams in the big 12 were ranked this last season. Well, except for Texas. SO, I guess in your eyes, since your team sucked balls, it didn't seem like there was any competition because they were so busy getting their asses kicked. And if 2011's results are anything like 2010's, I will be estatic. Because UT will still be in the crapper.

  • @OUfootballAuthority
    @OUfootballAuthority 13 лет назад

    @CrazyRussian16 Mad about what? That Texas went 5-7 last season? Mad that they didn't go to a bowl game at all? Mad that they Texas only has 4 NC title compared to OU's 7. Mad that Texas has only 3 Big 12 titles to OU's 6? Nahh bud, I'm laughing my ass off at the colossal joke that is Texas University and all it's fans. UT is the only team that beats its chest and yet never produces anything.

    @OUfootballAuthority I'm pretty sure I know what goes on inside Texas better than you do. Our new offensive coordinator beat your team in 2007 with 2-3 star talent. Let' see what he can do with 4-5 star talent at Texas. Everything you just mentiones is a result of poor preaparation and coaching, and if you that that will be allowed to happen again this year, then wait to see how the RRS goes.

  • @wiggiecl73
    @wiggiecl73 13 лет назад

    @OUfootballAuthority Hmmm last time I checked Texas has more overall wins as a program than oklahoma and has won the Red River Shootout 59 times to oklahomas 41. Don't get me wrong 41 is nothing to frown at but I wouldn't go so far as to say Texas sucks.

  • @OUfootballAuthority
    @OUfootballAuthority 13 лет назад

    @wiggiecl73 Seriously dude? For ONE, the # of sports teams your state has isn't an indicator of how great it is. TWO, historians found proof that there was no last stand at the Alamo, they all ran and were murdered running away. However, Texas refuses to change their history books because they can't handle the truth. THIRD, Oklahoma is a land of prosperity and diversity with beautiful natural landscapes, unlike Texas. You would know that had you ever been to Oklahoma.

    @Leoisflyy So you love OU fans? I realize it's a rebuilding year for Texas. But they completely collapsed this year and didn't make it to a bowl. Since Stoops has taken over, that has never happened to OU. Texas will be a little better next year. But I'm guessing they will be even worse than last year. And all the Texas fans will be screaming to get rid of Mack Brown. But we'll all have to wait and see.

  • @OUfootballAuthority
    @OUfootballAuthority 13 лет назад

    @CrazyRussian16 Hmm, funny, because Texas lost the National title game and Gilbert can't play worth shit. And if your coaches are screwing up, that falls on Mack Brown, ultimately. So as a whole, UT sucks.

  • @OUfootballAuthority
    @OUfootballAuthority 13 лет назад

    @CrazyRussian16 Umm bud, football is not rocket science. What happens on the field is proof who is the better team. And Texas proved time after time last season, they were the worser team. STOP MAKING EXCUSES! How many times do I have to enphasis that? If Texas had lost 2 or 3 games, we migh be able to say they had poor preperation. But to lose 7 games is undeniable proof that UT sucks!! Deal with it.

  • @makaldasa
    @makaldasa 16 лет назад

    So you say that OU is a contender. In the past four years, UT has won 2 BCS bowls including a national championship and beaten OU 3 of the 4 years. OU has beaten Texas 1 out of 4 years with NO BCS wins. Texas is currently ranked number 1. So how on earth is OU a contender and UT is not???????? "UT is not a contender, except when they are winning national championships, BCS bowls, beating #1 ranked OU..." I'm 25-- and can, from a clinical standpoint, say that you may have a delusional disorder.

  • @OUfootballAuthority
    @OUfootballAuthority 13 лет назад

    @CrazyRussian16 LOL. Still trying to make excuses I see. A win is a win. Isn't that what Mack Brown said when they stole the Big 12 trophy in 2009 from Nebraska? And maybe you forget OU beat Florida State, OSU, and Nebraska. Who did Texas beat? Ohh yea, nobody! A rebuilding year is when you lose a couple of games. Even ESPN called UT's year a catastrophic collapse. And many of those experts don't expect UT to get better for 2011. But your delusional so I guess you won't believe the experts.

  • @CrazyRussian16
    @CrazyRussian16 13 лет назад

    @OUfootballAuthority Most of the Big 12 teams that went bowling lost. OU won against a Little East UConn team and OSU beat a 7-5 team. OU also made A&M look good, and so did Nebraska, so don't talk about it being close to a normal year, the Big 12 was garbage. As far as expert talk I was talking about 2004-2005. As far as I'm concerned, your overrated team can keep listening to the experts and be a fucking disappointment every year. But don't get mad yet, enjoy your BCS win first.

  • @OUfootballAuthority
    @OUfootballAuthority 13 лет назад

    @CrazyRussian16 You're REALLY pissed that Texas went to shit last year huh? And now you try to feed everyone this bullsh*t that because Texas didn't go to a bowl game, the whole Big 12 was terrible? Hey, news flash!!!!! MAYBE IT WAS JUST TEXAS THAT WAS SH*TTY! MAYBE ALL THE OTHER TEAMS LIKE OSU, NEBRASKA, AND A&M WERE GOOD! I mean that makes sense to me since all those teams were ranked and went to a bowl game while Texas sucked.

  • @OUfootballAuthority
    @OUfootballAuthority 13 лет назад

    @wiggiecl73 Yea, the Big 12 is such a crappy conference that Texas got out, right? Ohh wait, they stayed. And we can compare all time conference titles if you want. OU has 43. Texas has 32. And just what do you Texas fans have to be proud of? You went 5-7 this last season. Your team had a catastrophic implosion. They SUCKED! Keep trying to justify your pride, you only look like a fool. And I'm laughing at the UT program that boasts it's the best team when it never wins anything.
