- Pregnancy Yoga and Natural Birth Preparation Exercises. These are the prenatal yoga and pregnancy exercises that I did daily to prepare for natural birth. I had 3 positive birth experiences with relatively easy and fast pushing and recovery. We are going to open up the hips and pelvis, build strength and endurance and prepare your core and pelvic floor for faster and effective pushing.

Wanted to thank you for all these wonderful videos. I completed all your videos leading up to the birth of my son and it went wonderfully! My water broke spontaneously on April 12, 2021 at 3:30PM and my son was born on April 13th at 8:30AM. I was pain free all the way through and I pushed him out using the "J" breath and making vowel sounds! It was awesome! Thanks again!
🙏❤
My due date's April 11, working on for similar experience ❤️❤️❤️🌺
@@evashukevich5640 And mine in April 4th
Good luck ladies! My due date is beginning May with my second baby. Hope we all have a beautiful birth experience.
That's amazing congratulations!!
You’re amazing! I am 28 weeks and always feel so healthy, confident and empowered after completing your videos ❤
Thank you Jessica! I’m 39 weeks 5 days currently and have been doing your videos my whole pregnancy!! I am trying to be as prepared as possible for the big day both mentally and physically, hope it will work, wish me luck, keep on doing the good work!! Love from Hungary, Europe xx
How was it??
@@sakuraesther6309 unfortuntely wasn’t an easy labor at 41 weeks. However it was worth it to workout this much during pregnancy because my body healed superfast afterwards and I managed to keep my prepregnancy figure (breastfeeding burns a lot of calories😅)
Thank you so incredibly much for all you put out here for mamas! I am a first time mom due in February and this video was fantastic! As I laid down for shavasana, I was immediately brought to tears of joy and the words "it's going to be okay" came into mind. I am really trying to prepare my body/mind/spirit and have a beautiful natural first labor and this made me feel more ready than I have ever been. I cannot thank you enough and look forward to continuing the journey until my baby is earth side. Namaste, sweet sister 🙏 💜
Loving these videos! I have been doing them throughout my pregnancy. They have been a really nice option during Covid since I haven't been able to go to live classes. Now I am 11 days from my due date and feeling more prepared. Thank you!
You are the best! Tried other yoga for pregnancy but they were all really complicated and for people who having been doing yoga before they got pregnant. Your routines are very easy and straight forward. Appreciate you and what you do. Thank you so much, will be recommending to all my pregnant friends !
Congratulations on your pregnancy, Ayisha! Thank you so much for your support and happy you are enjoying the videos 💞
Shout out to all the ladies who have taken up residence in the natural birth prep playlist! Just about 30 weeks now and I'm having fun with these labor preparation videos. Thank you! Love reading all the positive comments too!! 💜
I'm due to give birth next month, and I am determined to have an unmedicated vaginal birth. I was doing yoga before I got pregnant and early on, but they found a subchorionic hematoma around 8 weeks and so I was scared of risking injury. The whole time, I was scared to start back doing prenatal yoga and just started again a few days ago, practicing alongside these videos every day. I'm nervous that I've started back too late as I am 33.5 weeks, but I am manifesting a healthy delivery. Thank you for posting these
Thanks a lot for this video. It's my first time being pregnant and now that I'm in my second trimester I feel the need to prepare my body for labor. I would love more videos like this.
You are welcome :) Congratulations on your first pregnancy! I have another similar one coming up
thank you so much for your videos. I am 33 weeks and 6 days today. I feel confident to give birth thanks to your videos.
I'm 28 weeks and everyone tells me that I'm gonna need epidural and I really wanna do natural birth my mind is ready and watching these and doing them everyday i know my body will be ready thanks for these videos I just started today stretching but I'm M ALWAYS going on walk thanks so much !! 😊💙
All the best! You can do it
Love your videos! I am currently 36 weeks pregnant with my first baby and am feeling relaxed and confident for my birth. Thanks so much for all your knowledge!
You are a wonderful teacher! I can't wait to make this part of my practice! I am 27 weeks pregnant and looking forward to learning more from you. Thank you
Congratulations! Almost to third trimester:) So glad you are enjoying the videos 💞
I'm a FTM at 37 weeks, and these videos are fantastic at boosting my strength, endurance, and confidence! You do great work, Jessica, and I love your calm, gentle demeanor :) Sending love from Texas.
Hi Laura! Thanks so much...You made my day :) You CAN DO THIS! and you will get to meet your baby soon (so exciting!) Lots of love back to you and your baby on the way!
Love this, I feel more connected to my baby and at 36 weeks feeling more at peace with birth. Thanks!
I was taking online classes from 9 - 5 so I was having to sit for long periods at a time. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxEhgucmXpcAGYh8fatGFEnOK2V97VIwhG After the first day in a regular table chair, I thought about an exercise ball and ordered one that night. It came the next day! My hips, legs, back and butt couldn't have been happier! I'm almost 5'11" and I ordered the largest size and it was perfect for me. I also have RLS (restless legs) and this helped so much.Pumping it up was a little challenging and definitely gives you a good arm workout, (I'm a 62 yo woman) but it's very doable. Getting the tape centered with the hole to inflate it and then getting the pin back in was also a little tricky. But I love my new "chair" and I love the torquiose color. Hopefully it will also get used for exercise. 😁
Love these videos. 31 weeks tomorrow. Thanks so much!
Was excersing this routine almost everyday during ma last month of pregnancy (with higher repetition of some of them) as well as I was practicing Jessica's other prenatal videos since my fifth month and I am pretty sure that it is also thanks to those that I could handle my labor and birthing in 2 hours duration. I just highly
recommend your prenatal videos and labor prep videos as well.
Looking after my practicing of postnatal ones 😊👌
Thank you and keep that great job up Jessica ❤️ Bless you
Is it your first baby
Yes it is my first ❤️

Wow I loved this X I started tearing up on the last position X pregnancy hormone attack but also so relieved feeling hear someone talk about labour in a relaxing and enjoyable way xxx there so much fear mungering about labour and this is my first baby so I'm super nervous. So thank you so much and I'll keep up with the stretches x
I'm in my 28 week today. I love all your videos and posts, especially workouts! My goal is to be fit and active until the end of mybpregnancy (end beyond😉) so that I am prepared as well as I can be for natural birth! It's a challenge, espicially in this crazy corona times and being a first time mom, but I can do it! Thank you soo much for this chanel, I am working out and learning from you from the begining of my pregnency❤️🙏🏻I wish you all the best and please make more of thoose videos in the future!!!💪🏻😃🙌🏻😎🤗😇BR from Slovenia😘Pia

This was a great video! I'm in the 41st week so this was perfect for me. I've done many of the yoga routines in your other videos too. You are really the best pregnancy yoga instructor; so clear and effective. I look forward to the post-pregnancy yoga exercises

Very helpful, I love how calm and easy the instructions are. I didn't do yoga before pregnancy and always found it confusing to follow the instructions. But your style is very helpful and handy. Thank you
Hi Sana, I'm so happy you found it helpful :) Congratulations on your pregnancy and thanks for taking the time to comment!
Thank you! I'm trying for a VBAC 2nd time around... your videos are making feel strong and capable.
You are welcome and you can do it! You are strong and capable :) Your body knows how to birth your baby
Could you do a video on prolapse? A lot of mothers end up with prolapse issues and it is seriously swept under the carpet and no one seems to want to discus this issues. Prolapse is a life long problem and even surgery doesn’t always help or it causes more issues. Women need to be aware of all risks when it comes to pregnancy and taking care of their pregnant and postpartum bodies. If anyone is readin this and is pregnant or wants to get pregnant PLEASE do your research on how to prevent pelvic organ prolapse you will be thankful for it please, I don’t want anyone to suffer the way I have . At 23 years old after my first baby I developed prolapses and it has been devastating for me
Hi Jessica! :) I have been following exercises from your channel throughout my pregnancy... Kept choosing different ones for different months/trimesters depending what I felt most comfortable with at that time. Right now I'm 36 weeks and 4 days pregnant and I'm switching between this and the one you have made for strength and endurance. Planning to include the one for induction starting the end of this week. No matter when the baby comes and how, you have helped me feel strong and capable the whole time, thank you so much!
Looking forward to working with your videos post partum too! I have already marked a number of videos to follow once I have my baby!
Thanks again!
Seems very effective...will start from tomorrow for sure. Thanks so much, much love from India 🤗
Hi Nisha, These are the exercises I did to help have a natural birth :) Love that you can watch all the way from India! xo
I just did this video at 38 weeks. My midwife told me just over a week ago my baby's head had engaged .. I have been very active with excercizes and doing your yoga videos regularly throughout my pregnancy.. normally I am fine with lunges and the yogi squat but this time I really struggled - I had a intense sensation of pressure (on the verge between being uncomfortable to being painful) in my pelvis. Does this mean I should stop doing these moves because the baby is too heavy or is my cervix too weak and I should practice them more?
I like it. 16th week, twins. Thanks
Whoo hooo! TWINS! So exciting!
@@PregnancyandPostpartumTV Thank:) Saved myself several other of your videos and already started doing them, I am a runner so want exercise. BTW, thank for your support to Ukraine, I am from and in Ukraine, we appreciate it a lot:)
What a wonderful informative video. Thank you for sharing this with RUclips and all mamas.
Thanks so much! Glad you found the info helpful :) Have a wonderful week!
Loved it ! This is going to be my first baby, so I’m grateful to have a preparation before labour 😊
This felt so good on my upper back ❤
This was awesome thanks! I have about five weeks to go and I plan to use this everyday
Thank you Keri! Yay! 5 weeks is not long (although it may feel long at the end of pregnancy). You get to meet your sweet baby soon! You got this!
This was amazing! I love ALL of your videos :) I am 38 weeks now prepping for birth and this was just what I needed! Also - can you share the music playlist you have on this video? It was lovely and I would love to use it during labor 💜
How did it go??
I love this one! I've done this workout a few times! I'm now 32 weeks pregnant. Which video do you recommend I do from your series?!
Thanks so much this will help me during this 3rd trimester and during birth
yes, and I know you have been putting in the work..you are going to do amazing! xo Hope you are feeling great
Fantastic video. Very helpful, informative and reassuring. Thanks so much xxx
Oh my goodness! I just watched your americas got talent performance…. You are incredible and so fun to watch!!
Great video! Thank you so much!
Thank you very much for this video. I'm at the start of my 3rd trimester, FTM, I am finding that because of lockdown I struggle more with strengthening exercises. Would you mind doing a video, routine on safe 3rd trimester strength exercises for the legs? Please. Specifically inner thighs! They've been getting less tonned by the minute!! Cheers
Hi Monica! That's a great suggestion! I'll start working on one. I plan my content a few weeks in advance, but I'll see how quickly I can get it out (hopefully before you have your baby!) In the mean time, this one is safe for third trimester (even though it says for second trimester) and has some leg work in it :) ruclips.net/video/qJ3L-YztHog/видео.html Thanks for your support!
@@PregnancyandPostpartumTV Thanks!
Many thanks amazing Jessica! I would love to see more pre- and post-pregnancy videos :)

I am 18th week and 1 day pregnant. I am really worried about my delivery as I want to have a natural delivery. I can see there are a lot of videos for this on your channel. Please suggest all the videos/playlist to follow. Thanks a lot. :)
So much helpful useful practical information, thanks Jessica x
Hi! I love your videos, they are so helpful! The hip rotation and bouncing on the ball feels so good! I am 33 weeks, is it too soon to start bouncing?
Thanks a lot, the music so beautiful 😍
Thank you for this insightful session ! Almost 37 weeks and I an't wait to meet my little one ! Thank you for sharing your personal stories, your inspirational readings at the end! Merry Christmas from "Peanut" and I :)
Loving your pregnancy videos - well done, thanks.
Loving this exercise! Can you provide the exercise video to optimize the position of the baby? I'm currently 24 weeks and my twins still on horizontal position, I'm trying to turn them to anterior position.... thank you! :)
Hi Aulia! Congratulations on your pregnancy :) I bounced on the ball, did kneeling lunges, spent time on all-fours to help get my babies in the right position. Also check out Spinning Babies resources.
Did they end up turning naturally on their own, or did you work on positioning? I think my baby is going back and forth from horizontal to head down, even though at 32 weeks routine check-up he/she was head down in the perfect position.
Thank you so much Jessica 💞💝💓.
I’m so happy I found your channel.
Really loved this! Thank you for sharing 🙏
Great stretch and great info! Loved it
The core exercise made my baby kick like crazy hahaha

Thank you for sharing wonderful info and videos.. Is this video safe for all trimester?
Thank you in advance ❣️

Hello thank you for the exercise! I am currently 16 weeks pregnant with vaginismus history do you think its better for me to do kegel or reverse kegel to help me with my pelvic floor? I really want to give birth naturally. Thank you :)
Thanks for this video. been wanting this since I really want to have a natural birth for my baby in 3 months time. However, I got a hemorrhoid during my first trimester. Is the squat position still advisable? or what position should I do instead?
Hi I'm on my 30 weeks now and I can see I have quite low tummy... is this safe to do everyday for me this stage? Thanks for ur reply love this video
Love this video. Thank you
Thanks so much Ankana! Congratulations on your pregnancy too!
Thanks for the videos. They are so helpful.
I have a question.
When should I start this exercise? I’m 30week pregnant so I have been doing the thirst trimester yoga.
What is the size of the yoga ball?
I really appreciate the exercises but in many of the videos I find at least one of them practically impossible to do with a big belly. Is anyone having the same experience?
Please reply when should a pregnant woman start this exercise?
Hello Jessica! I have this video marked to do tomorrow, and I’m just wondering what timing you recommend for these birth prep videos? I’m almost 30 weeks, and want to be ready for birth, but I also really enjoy regular sculpting, cardio, etc. Should I be doing these a couple times a week at this point, and more as I get closer? Thanks for your help!
I love all your prenatal yoga it’s really helpful thank you, but i always I wonder if this exercise would help me to have natural birth with out inducing or taking epidural??
What if the side lying position is very uncomfortable?
thank you very much
You are so welcome! Ps. Amazing profile pic :)
Thank you very much. I love your videos :)
Thank you, Sara 💞
Thank you for sharing, I gain a lot from this video 🙏👍👍👍🌹💞💞
You are so welcome :) Happy you found it helpful!
From which we want to do this workout?? Focus more in 3 trimester???
Loved this video! Would definitely appreciate more like this :)
When do I start these exercises,I mean from which month.
HEENA KONDKAR Hi Heena! It’s never too early to start. I did a lot of these exercises throughout my whole pregnancy, but I really started daily for 3rd trimester or around 5th/6th month. Congratulations on your pregnancy!
Hi Jessica! I have a question please: I am on my first month and first time mom and I have started exersicing every day with your yoga videos. FRom which month can I add the exercices of this one for natural birth?
It’s never too early to start the birth prep ones. I would occasionally add them in now and then increase how often. It’s helpful to regularly include them by third trimester:)
@@PregnancyandPostpartumTV Thank you! :)
Thanks so much for this! I feel amazing!!! :D
So happy you enjoyed! Thank you 💞
