very cool watch. Rolex Explorer-Submariner vintage vibes, especially with the Snoopy on the dial. No Speedy snoopy prices. Would have more fun wearing this watch than a Rolex. That res seconds hands is a nice touch. Timex is good at making nice watches.
As a collectors piece I think you can overlook the shortcomings but had it been a regular edition not up to snuff. Still a cool looking piece. Thanks for the review.

I have the Timex Q hodinkee, and I feel that these watches look stunning, every colourway is amazing, but yep the strap is pretty naff, but its trying to fit the era I suppose, and in the 70s I wasn't born so had no arm hair so cannot tell you if its an exact replica from the 70s lol. Cool little watch
Great retro piece, Timex have definitely knocked these out of the park if you're looking to recapture that 70's vibe personally I have to disagree with you on Timex keeping nearer to the original specs & materials I like the fact its pretty faithful to the original. As for the miyota movement some people hate them but it's still an upgrade on what was in them back in the 70's.😊
I think your opinion on keeping it nearer to the original is definitely the majority opinion since they went ahead with it. I love mine. However, I don't wear it, it's just for display only. I collect Timex only and currently have over 70 pieces and only wear two of them. I have them in cases in my office. I just love the old school look of the watch.
Nice video bro. I'm not a character watch guy but it's cool. They nailed it keeping it true vintage why no modern upgrades. For price its good. Would be fine in pool. My Casio solar is same water resistance and I've had on in pool no issues.

Great review. I got one of these around Christmas. Timex has a 15% off for signing up for there newsletter, so I was able to get it for 15% off retail. Personally, I like how it looks and I like Snoopy, the Snoopy tie-in is the only reason I got it. However, I do like the design. This watch objectively is overpriced. I would also say it’s a bad everyday watch, a bad single watch, and not a beater. This watch is for some he who has more than one watch and either likes the style or Peanuts.

So I got this watch in July. Favorite watch since. Don't change the bracelet.
It’s a great watch. The strap is a bit of a hair puller but is so unique and vintage inspired.
This is my grail watch. I want it. Lets hope I get through the waiting list.
