I can tell you this even without having a rog it's better! This phone is a beast. Rog even failed stress test I believe cracked in half this phone passed with no problem because it's that cool! See what I did there? LoL

I have a rm6 Tencent pink variant with eu rom and it has wifi issue , it can't connect to public wifi ( the page to enter details in public wifi doesn't appear and so wifi stays connected without internet) I have tried resetting network settings, formatted device 2 times but no luck . The first time when setting up device it asks to connect wifi so only that time it connects to wifi and page appears ( after setup other wifi connections doesn't work , so only 1st time setup wifi works) please help me

Dude demolished the cameras. I think it's really impressive for a gaming phone, most of their install base will rarely or never use them. And if they do, all except maybe the night ultrawide are more than useable. If this had true stereo it'd be on my radar.

You can use the play store with no problem, and Netflix has widevine L1 support. So it can play fullHD.

I've always wondered what games would you need these gaming phones for. 😅 Flagships and even most midrange phones seem to do the job just as well.

Theyre good but they have a lot of blast ware, and are designed for instagrammers and tiktokkers. Thr games handle well, but are not tuned for gaming.
It's like, why get a sports car when a nice enough sedan does everything you'd want it to? Well because you're not looking for a sedan.

@@absorberfe3619 I have the base 6, and honestly? If you can deal with a slightly buggy software skin, it's totally worth the $500. It's super powerful, and can even play PS2 games with a 60fps cheat on.

Best variant is the Red Magic 6S Pro, and it's like $700 USD, but the software skin kind of sucks. The ROG 5 has a better software skin, but it's over $1k USD.
I went with the base RM6, and I'm pretty happy with it.

@@Cub__ the base was $500 when I bought it, but they took it off their site so you can't buy it straight from them anymore.
In terms of controller, I've been using my Razer Kishi with it and it's worked wonders (aside from Cod Mobile, since it won't detect the Kishi anyways)
I've dabbled with cloud gaming a tiny bit, but haven't tested it enough to tell if it's worth it.
@@CosmeticFear That's funny you mention the Kishi Razer, I just bought one yesterday for fairly cheap.. now I'm looking at possibly getting a better phone just gaming exclusively, right now I use the Pixel 4 and while it's been just fine I think it takes too much out of it if I actually wanted to play for a couple of hours, draining the battery.
I'm looking into the Xiaomi black shark or Poco F3 something a little bit cheaper because paying console price for a phone just seems crazy to me personally.. I'd like to play D2 with Stadia.
I'm surprised with you having that piece of equipment that you haven't really done much cloud gaming, you should definitely give it a shot and let me know your experiences using that phone.

This is interesting. If you randomly asked people on the street to name 3 phone manufacturers, they would say, iPhone, Samsung then you'll get the pause errrrmmm, then maybe Nokia or Google. People don't know there are other better phones with a cheaper price tag out there. My girlfriend 12 Yr old daughter wants a new iPhone 12 plus max. I say why because it's the best she says and can do emoji's. So I say that it so its a very expensive emoji machine. No its not I get. Anyway we are constantly being thrown the galaxy and iPhone down our throats and don't even seem to stock much else in their stores. Yh you get some Huawei and Google phones hanging around but these sales people want you on a 3 year contract to pay off a not as great phone that 3 times too expensive. And those so called critics for well down publications. They are all giving the new sony xperia 1 iii a 4 star out of 5. Which is expected because if it had a Samsung badge on it and its the same phone it's a 5 star phone. I read the reviews and they deliberately try to find faults where there is none. They say too expensive yet don't say this over the iPhone 12 ranges. They are all expensive, are we going to pay 2k in a couple of years for one of these? I said that's it for phones once they reached 1k mark. Ridiculous and sorry for this rant.

Seems like if you want a gaming phone that's also a good 'all around' phone, the RoG 5 is the better bet.
alot of real purchased reviews says otherwise that the phones breal internally nd fixing them cost more then the phone plus asus customer services also has bad rap

If you guys are working in the US don't buy this phone some companies consider this phone as a security risk since Nubia is part of ZTE. Having this phone can get you fined. either that or use the phone at your leisure and not when you're working in your building or home.

The audio Jack placement is completely fucked up (top left corner opposite of the triggers' side). If you game with headphones the phone is impossible to hold. On the RM5 the placement was good. Not sure what they were thinking moving it. Perhaps so people buy their wireless earbuds. Complete and utter dealbreaker that makes this phone ungameable on if you're on a bus with headphones

looks like this 6 version of the phone is as crappy as my 5 version that went down totally within 4 hours after unboxing with screen stuttering, blackscreens and a non responsive system that was hard to restart becausd the screen turned black all the time. Don't buy this brand, still did not get back my refund and the so called helpdesk is a crappy as their phones

@@xMizz_DEADPQQLx Fan always turns off during a phone call. I believe there's an option to keep it on with headphones in, but it's forced to turn off when just calling regularly.

When this company work better on theire software global they would be one of the great manufactors out there. But know the software update politics from Nubia are terrible and i cant recoment anyone this brand. When they promise official they bring software updates as fast as china i would think other wise.
