redmagic 6 location of headphone jack sucks 🤣☠ makes it really difficult to hold phone they shouldve moved the jack next to volume buttons but nope so really pointless

For those who are going to buy this phone, remember that when you're playing games in landscape mode to utilize the triggers, your hand will block the mono speaker, which is hidious since it's a gaming phone
Buy a case.that wont.block.your fingers..so many cases that will.help with your concern

@@eidokun it's not hard to reposition the speaker, but they didn't. I'm note making a fuss about this, because yes, you can just hold the phone hozirontally but in the opposite side of the phone, but your fingers will probably touch the cameras and create smudges. The misplace of the speaker would not be any dealbreaker, but, a problem is still a problem, can't skip because 1. This phone isn't cheap. 2. It's a gaming phone nonetheless.

The fact that I just ordered this phone with 12gb ram, 256gb storage and a snapdragon 888 for $489 is just bonkers. It offers so much for how cheap it is. I can't wait to get it!

This phone is infuriating. They upgraded the cameras clearly from the regular 6 which is great, but then removed the headphone jack, made the selfie camera a punch hole, gave it a smaller battery, took away stereo speakers. The other things aren't a huge issue, but removing the headphone jack makes it a nonstarter for me.
I wish Redmagic 6 didn't look like a gaming mouse, but there's so many features that are just gone in 6r
Well you could just use usbc headphones rigtt, or wireless, but I know that thats a sensitive topic for gamers

Still a reason why i haven't upgraded to any of these phones do to not having a phone jack AND external memory expansion! I use my phone phone jack all the time for years in my car playing my kick asss 80s jams and wont settle for less (Bluetooth) quality hens why im still holding on to my reliable and still power Huawei Mate 9 that's has everything i want.
The only phone right now that would replace my phone with what i want is the powerful Sony Xperia 1 iii, but because no phone is worth more than $500 (ripoff) and the screen is not so bright outside in the day time, im holding on to what i have till something better comes out or just wait till the damn price drops way down. 😎

I can't get the haptic feedback on the virtual keyboard for key presses even I though I have it enabled in my settings and I cannot get the phone to cast to chrome cast and maintain connection when the phone goes to sleep. The phone must remain with the screen on and app open in order to cast can anyone please help with these 2 problems I am experiencing.

The speaker only takes up a small part of the inside so why didnt they put it at the same side where the triggers are or for the best, they could have placed it on the rear area where the fan was so it nothing blocks the speaker

I REALLY wanted to buy their "Non Pro" 6-model... But watching their support in the past, I just couldn't justify it to myself...
I ordered Poco F3 256-model with headphones, from Prime days, at the price of €319.
It later dropped to €299, but that's not a biggie...
Got the f3 cause everybody raves about them and these phones still have some reputations to build up imo. Phone games still suck so no reason to have a gaming prioritized phone right now either.

In the app u just open up the menu for the triggers and it lets you place a dot over the button each trigger is meant to control

You should test the video camera capability more thoroughly, because while a lot ppl take photo from their phone, even more people capture moments with video from their phone, and as far as i could see, if a phone could record a video (in 4k or high frame rate) well, almost certainly it will take a great photo too.
Test the video by not just looking at details, and exposure, but also stability not just when walking, but also when panning and zooming in and out, these kind of capabilities is need to talked about more, do it the way that Tech Tablets do, most detailed analysis when it comes to video shoot

Camera design almost the same as samsung M, A series.
According to many other reviews, the BACK is made out of PLASTIC and NOT GLASS.
I'll avoid it. Mainly because of the dual speakers or lack of.
This. I'll go for the regular Red Magic 6. For 100 dollars more I get the dual speakers, headphone jack and a better screen. Also the fan is mandatory to get longer phone life.
