What's your take on tournament play at the low stakes? I find playing these stakes are very ABC and rarely need much advanced bluffing. There are so many callers so I find its just Value betting all the time. Could you do a video on tournament play please?
Hi Alice, I currently do not play any tournaments since this does not fit my schedule. I agree with you though, probably playing as straight forward as possible is a good default while making the correct adjustments based on stack sizes and ICM. If I play a tournament at some point I will make sure to record it and make a video about it.
3:45 AJT9ss: Check with nbdfd imo. Looks spewy to bet-call. Could see same hand with 2 bdfd to bet-call. But two things tend to happen in these versus theory: - BB has less leads (stronger check range) - BB x-r range is more value heavy and has less blocker type stuff 7:35 KK82ss: Should we not polarize here theory wise into pot or check or is this more of exploitative sizing as bluff? 11:20 K442ds: Seems pretty loose call. EV is -0.26 and that seems like quite huge amount to negate. Being deep I am not so sure if its even that good thing. Its just not that nutty hand to get involved imo. 18:15 TT66ss: I would prefer using 1/3 or pot. This one being clear pot I would say. 22:18 AAK9ss: 1.5$ on flop, shove turn? 29:27 AQJ4ss: Surprised of this fold from some other loose plays so far preflop. It is close to +0.1 EV open. 30:45 K986ss: Hard time to see these kind of calls making profit versus most villains. We have -0.3 EV with this in 100bb sim. Would just fold flop versus pot on flop. But imo good example why these hands are pretty bad pre. 35:23 AQ43ss: Hand is fine in general to fold but I probably would call versus this weird 7.5bb sizing. It is huge discount to pot 3bet. Though yeah also tight opponent. 51:50 JT95ss: Really dont like facing pot flop bet in this spot with dry low straight. Cant fold I guess but issue is we will face another pot bet imo very often on blanks. Would fold turn. Issue is opponent reps straight mainly. Could be occasionally same straight but we are also practically dead versus nuts. We have lot of other stuff that are weaker in absolute hand strength but also have way more equity versus nuts.
3:45 actually he DID have a bdfd, everything else in your comment was pretty spot on and i enjoyed going through each of your examples and double checking your work
@@PkrDealer86 Yeah I did mention I would prefer to check having nbdfd and bet-call seems optimistic to me. But if he had two bdfd I could see it being bet-call theory wise at least and lot more sensible combo. I dont have currently access to solver outputs to check if his actual hand make sense as bet-call. But even if it is in gto I would assume its very marginal.
Ggpoker is a trap, ive gone from $50 to $1600 twice now, then have massive 20 or 30 buyin down swing all pure "variance" would be tough enough but when your crushing the games GG take more of the rake and gives less rack back to the tune of 13bb in rake. Its unbeatable, they have pros slaving away creating the game for them while GG makes all the money is rake. Online poker dream is officially dead.
Hi Alex, that is a very negative viewpoint you have here. Have you looked into other options if you feel this way about GGpoker? Regarding your downswing, I would be very critical if it is actually variance. Its very convenient to blame variance when losing, this often happens and is normal behaviour , nothing personal. I would analyse my session, look bad at the most important hands and do a database review to get a better picture of your current game. Focus on what you can control and improve on rather than what you cannot. Good luck in your next session!
@@LuukBotter86 i appreciate the message back, thanks for the kind words. Ran below average in allin ev while beating PLO for 15bb/100 and have nothing to show for all the work. Its all gone to GG in rake. I didnt realize how bad GG rake structure truly is, i dont wanna share any more bab beat stories, no one wants to hear and i dont wanna live em anymore. It is literally impossible to break free from small stakes and the rake at GG seems insane at every level. Mtts are the only place GG hasnt destroyed with rake and the variance there is even worse. I still managed to turn $50 into $1300 cash out twice now. But the idea of trying to make any substantial $ there just isn't realistic. Best of luck 2 u as well. Enjoyed your content

Nice video i notice you fold pocket pairs like QQ63 pre, Do those not flop well enough oop?
especially if not double suited, you're going to spew money with hands like that oop, so many other hands that are more playable there.
Thanks glad you liked it! Sometimes these hands are a fold preflop yes depending on the position or the action in front of you.
@@blacksheepsoftball I like 4567 rainbow type hands. Deceptive and effective.
@@mastyer0fReality Have you tried the Free PLO Trainer yet and looked at how these hands should play?
AQ42 ds a fold from the sb vs open??
Luke do you play higher stakes PLO?
I usually play PLO 100 and PLO 200
whats your hourly?
