it's kinda like if you've ever used stretch wrap to package a box, you go for maximum stretch coming out of a bend, not pre-stretching then rounding a corner

I've been doing this for 10 years now. Not revolutionary at all, just seems normal to me, especially when wrapping with calendared film.
