Tim, I love the macerana on the dance floor. I can't do it on the floor. Still, I will keep practicing and keep you posted. Take care.

This is very clever. Your knowledge deserves to be more popular, and I'm sure someday the algo will bless.

    Interesting Idea!
What about a variation with closed eyes to make coordinating in space a little more demanding?

For the person who is ready for that, absolutely! Many will need there eyes to help stabilize and navigate but that’s the beauty of “starting where you are”. Eyes closed can be fun. In a room without hard sharp objects!

Excellent progressions from getting up from the floor without using your UEs. Holding them in certain positions while getting up and down is a great challenge.

This is a great challenge. A really safe and easy way to start for beginners and to build confidence is to stand up using the following: 1. Roll onto your back 2. Bring knees to chest, 3. Roll over face down into child pose (with or without hands on the floor - depending on skill and strength) 4. Tuck your toes under 5. Roll up to stand up. Reverse to lay down: 1. Roll the spine down leading with the head 2. Place hands on the floor to assume “table top” pose 3. Roll over onto your back with knees to chest etc. This was the way we were taught as dancers to protect our bodies. Of course there are many other ways to get up and down from the floor as you say. However, you need to develop techniques from a base (of course through exploration) and to build strength. I can see you creating a system from easy to harder. Raymond

    Hi Tim !
What crawling variation would you use to develop both strength and conditioning ? What frame (sets / reps or time) would you use ?
    Thanks !

I would say to start where you are and where you can crawl with diaphragm breathing while keeping the head up. Maybe that's baby crawling, maybe that's leopard or spiderman crawling. Maybe it's for sets of 20 steps, maybe it's for.time (accumulate 3-5-10 minutes etc). It depends on where you are at. Play and see
