Hey Gary. Just ordered 2 of the HK Audio PR:O 110 XD2 as backline for my keyboards and monitors for bigger rooms. I use a mixer so the lack of eq and dsp doesn’t affect me. Wooden cases at 14 kg for me is perfect. Great post 😊👍
It's a great choice! One of my friends uses two of these as his keys/vocal monitors and loves them! The really simple tone is quite effective, to be fair, but you'll be fine with a mixer! Just make sure you get the covers so you don't scrape the paint, and you'll be golden! 🙂
I have yet to encounter this newest iteration of Wharfedale. I remember the old English-made boxes could have been better. These new ones look pretty well-specced, although the plate amplifiers look quite like the commercially available Chinese units, which isn't necessarily a good thing in terms of quality control. I would go with the HK sub over the Wharfedale, especially since it is only about £10 more from Bax Shop at the moment!
Drop a comment below-are you team 110 XD or 112 FD? Or maybe you’ve got a favourite setup already? Let me know!
I love your content. It is so professional! Please keep up the awesome work!
Thank you for the kind words!

What do you think about wharfedale Pro speakers, like the Delta's and Typhon? I have 2 thypon AX12-BT. I am thinking of buy a 18" T-sub with these.
