- I hope you enjoy the grand finale to this 1996 Suzuki #RM250 #2stroke dirt bike restoration & rebuild I worked on over the past year and a half. It's a video made to watch all the way through, from beginning to end, so please don't just skip to the end 🙃.

Additionally I want to thank Tony Blazier (@TheMotocrossVault) for documenting the history of these bikes in his unbelievable archive. I used his scans to create the mockups for this build you see at the beginning of the video. Although I've seen this build multiple times now, I just cannot emphasise enough, what a work of art it is!
I didn't go all out like this too. Only because the lack of tools and cash but I know what you mean it's great to get down.

Evo Mx is the shit. That shift lever hack was unbelievable. I loved the bolt with the c clip modification.
the ending is very sad that he was found in a damaged condition, now he is new and back to his golden days, goodbye and he will be a memory for you because you restored him from 0 to 100 and he was like new again. Thank you for restoring him to like new. It's factory default, bro

When tightening the top bolts on the front fork i always span a piece plastic bag between the bolt and the socket to prevent it from marking. Works a treat!

Amazing restoration. Too many people "restore" dirt bikes and sell them, but this is not one of those. I bought my 2001 yz 125 for way more than i should have since the prices here in Canada are so inflated. The guy had restored it, powder coated the frame, fresh top end. The kickstart broke right away, the fins on the radiators were all mashed, and the engine blew up two weeks later. Learning experience.
Your work is really admirable, you did all the details with the utmost care and your Suzuki engine is no different from a factory zero engine❤. I enjoyed watching this video.

Your motivation towards your projects is amazing bro, and your editing is great. I grew up on dirt bikes, and just bought a brand new 24’ Honda 250F. Excited for the next build man.
This is a work of art. If it was mine I would sit it in my living room and never ever ride it. Seeing the amount of work put into this, even though it's only a very very compressed amount, is just insane.

i do some bikes over, now and then during wintertime, but this is some next level shit, polishing the inside of hexhead screws , and the inside of enginecovers - and i am very pleased to se that you kept the disk guards..mostly just thrown away - an impressive job!
